Your friend had taken you to the newest club, Lux, in downtown LA. You had just been through a messy break-up and she thought that getting back out there was the best thing. As soon as you arrived, she left you at the bar whilst she danced with guys on the dance floor.
You were just about to leave when a good-looking British man introduced himself as Lucifer Morningstar, the owner of Lux and apparently the devil. You indulged his roleplaying, as he was slowly improving your night. The two of you ended up in one of the many booths, talking the night away.
You asked him what he did before coming to LA, his family and his interests.
"I like to punish people too. Or at least I used to."
