chapter 47

Echo's pov.

I ran to my car not crying just hurt. I had no words my heart was cold. I felt numb. I drove home and took a hot shower.

The steam helped me clear my mind. And now I was sure of my conclusion and what I was going to do.

I no longer would show any emotion to Nash. I was done with him. Him and his girlfriend were together and happy without me butting in.

The idea stung for a while but I got over it and liking Nash faded away.

About thirty minutes getting out of the shower my bell rang. I was at the time living in my own apartment.

I was wearing pjs when I got to the door.

Outside was a dozen of roses and a note on top. I picked up the note and it read:

Please be mine, forever and ever.
Nash.

Nash's pov.

I gave her the flowers and watched her pick the note up and read it. But she didn't smile.

She threw the note on the floor and shut the door.

My heart was broken.
