Chapter Three~Forged by Force

Joel

That fucking idiot!!! I honestly can't believe that he just did that!!

"What the actual fuck, Coleson?!?!" I screamed in his face.

"I'm not changing my mind, Joel." He had the nerve to say.

My blood started boiling over at that.

"You really are a COMPLETE FUCKING IDIOT!! I honestly can't believe that you could be so close-minded!! Like, seriously, couldn't you try and be a little less of a fucking asshole?!?!" I shouted.

I knew that I shouldn't have been yelling at him, but I was too angry to see him shrinking back.

"You just couldn't keep your fucking pride in check, could you?! No, you couldn't. And for what? Simply because you didn't want to accept a helping hand?! What, do you simply have shit for brains?!" I ranted on and on about how stupid he had been.

After I calmed down a little, I sighed and rubbed down the front of my face.

"Look, I know that you're not gonna change the way you think or feel about Kadyn's, uh, choices; but that doesn't give you the right to judge him for it. After all, no matter how you see it, Coleson, you need his help. You need him." I told him.

Coleson, being the brat that he was, flinched a little at my tone, but still attempted to stubbornly hold his ground. He just gave his classic 'I said what I said' look and crossed his arms in front of him. But I've known him long enough to see past his facade.

"I'm not changing my mind, Joel." He said, shrugging his shoulder lazily.

I gritted my teeth to keep from doing anything drastic.I sighed again before looking up into Coleson's cold blue eyes.

"I'm not asking you too. I just want you to be less of an asshole about it. Whether you like to admit it or not, you need Kadyn's help. As I've stated before, he is the absolute best that there is. We need him." I said, trying to hammer that fact into his thick head.

I could practically see the gears turning in his head as he realized that I was right. Just then, his entire face changed from neutral to one of discomfort and disdain.

"Shit, I hate it when you're right." He groaned out.

"I know, now go find him, apologize and try to get him to help." I ordered.

Coleson sighed heavily and left my office. I hope he can at least attempt to neutralize the situation that he caused.

Coleson

I groaned heavily as I left Joel's office. Now I have to go out and look for Kadyn, who, by the way, is a guy that apparently likes to wear girl clothes and fucking makeup. But he is right after all. I hate to admit this shit, but we do  need him.

If I was truly being honest, though, his crossdressing really wasn't even an issue. I wasn't even sure why I responded the way that I did.

"God I hate this." I growled lowly at my own train of thought.

"Clearly not as much as I do." Said a voice from behind me.

I turned around to see Kadyn sitting on a ledge facing what looked to be a pond. Wait a minute...a pond??? How the hell did I get here?!?!

"Relax, I just teleported you to my location." Kadyn said.

    It was almost as if...

"Did you just read my mind?" I asked, feeling my anger spike a little.
