Promise at the Seashore

Kyungwan's POV

We finally arrived here in the Im Empire... well I think our plan is succeeding. Just for your information, I brought my team... my friends... cause they'll help me teaching the Princess.

"Omo I'm so nervous!!!" Chaeng said

"Don't worry cub the Princesses won't eat you" I said.

We altogether entered the castle and the servants told us where our room is. I lay in the bed while the kids are fixing their things. Well Momo slept with us but different bed.
While me I'm sleeping with the cub and the Yoda. I'm about to close my eyes when we suddenly heard a knock.

"Aishhh... I'm about to sleep!" I yelled.

"I'll get it oppa" Momo said as she opened the door.

"Annyeong!!!!! It is I God Jihyo! Where is Prince Jeo--- Kyungwan?!" she shouted. This girl is literally so loud as fuck.

"Uhhh... he's inside" Momo said while covering her ears.

"Yahhh! you don't need to shout!" Nayeon said. I quickly stood up as I heard her voice.

The Princesses and a Prince entered our room so there's 9 of us. We introduced each other and hangout for awhile.

"So when Nayeon start her lessons with Kyungwan, we can all hangout and leave them alone... or maybe leave them date" Dahyun said.

I suddenly felt my cheeks warm up a little. I looked at Nayeon and there I saw a small pink tint on her cheeks. Cute.

"Oooooohhhh!!!! Something's fishy!!!" Sana shouted.

"Why is everyone shouting when we're literally in front of each other" Tzuyu said expressionless.

Well he still didn't forget that we're on the Empire of the Killer of his Parents.

"Calm down kid..." Mina said

A minute later the King called us for the dinner since it's already night. After that I saw Nayeon alone at the balcony so I followed her.

"Why so silent princess??" I asked

"Nothing... I just thought about me being the Queen of the Empire by the End of this year" She said

"Aren't you happy about it?"

"I'm happy though but... it's just I'm scared of taking responsibilities" She answered

"It's easy though just follow your heart and mind, as long as you followed it you're in the right path" I said and smile.

"I know that. But... I don't want to marry a man that I don't love... The Emperor of D.O. Empire have a deal with Appa... They want me to marry their son after 2 years of being a Queen, the exchange is protection, peace, and we'll be part of their Empire" She said

"Then tell your parents you don't want to, they'll understand. I'll be here to support you though" I said

Our conversation last long. Full of laughter and even revealing our secrets. Guess what we're friends now...

Next Day...

Nayeon's POV

I woke up cause I felt someone is shaking me. I opened my eyes and saw Kyungwan looking at me seriously.

"We have training... eat breakfast and suit yourself I'll train you archery... and how to properly ride a horse" He said and goes out of my room

I followed what he said and here I am watching him while he taught me how to use a bow.

"Here watch me I'll shoot" he said

I watch how he aim. Seems familiar, his pose, and the way he shoot the arrow. He reminds me of Jeongyeon.

"Hey Nayeon are you with me?" He asked

"Who taught you how to shoot?" I asked

"My father taught me the basics and I learned my own style of using it" He said
"That's why I'm the only person who can shoot like that and use a bow like that" He said as he wink

"Nope... I know someone else who can" I said confidently

"Well... maybe it's just me when I was practicing" He said "Now you try" He continued.

We practice I think half the day. We rest and eat for a while then we're practicing now how to ride a freakin horse.

"Is that your horse?" I asked

"Yep, It's a royal horse that father gave me when I was 10" He said

He taught me the basics and I get it easily. We race miles and miles until we're tired so we rest at the sea shore. We're watching the sunset as the dark eats the light.

"So beautiful" I said

"Like you" He whispered but enough for me to hear. It made my heart skip.

What's this feeling? What's with Kyungwan?

"If you became a Queen... Can you promise to go here after the coronation, at this same time" He said.

"Sure... but can I ask when is your coronation?" I asked

"It'll be next year... and I guess the day before your coronation will be the last time you'll saw me" He said.

We go back to the castle and we go straight to our room. While walking at the hallway, I passed by the painting room. I saw the door slightly opened, so why not peek on it.

I saw a penguin and a cub cuddling with each other. And Chaeyoung is painting something.

"Do you like it?" Chaeng asked

"Absolutely! You're a great painter!" Mina complimented.

I left them there and didn't bother them. As I lay on the bed I remember what Kyungwan told me.

"I can't stay friends with you though... cause after my coronation, maybe Appa had someone ready for me to marry"
