:: Brim's POV ::

The day is finally here, I'm now living through it.

New year or known as my senior year.

"You are going now, dear?"
Mom asked, she is facing me but all I can see is her silhouette because of the TV's light.

"Yeah, was dad here?"

".. No.. Not yet."
As she said that, she turn her head back to the television but with bitter expression.

'You've said those things thousandth times already. Yet you still keep waiting.'
Brim thought.

I felt sorry for mom. Last Christmas really took a toll on every each one of us involved. But I'm also furious the fact that someone is being irresponsible to their own action and let someone else cleans up the mess they made.

I walked up to where my mom is, before kneeling down Infront of her and wrapping my arms around her waist, resting my cheek on her stomach.

"That was a very dumb question.. I'm sorry." I said calmly and basically comforting my mom whom I know is still living in the past.

She just quitely chuckled. Bitterly.
Though she may not show how painful it is to remember..

I can feel her warm palm caressing my head, "I am grateful enough, that you're here darling."

Moment of silence.

"You need to go before you're running late, dear. I believe the bus is already outside waiting." said mom while releasing from my embrace and patted me on my head after that.

"Alright, take care and see you mom"

I stood up from the spot and wave for the last time before I'm heading out.

I walked out of the bus and made my way through the crowded bus stand, getting out of there and continued to walk peacefully back with my personal space that I needed.

I took a deep breath before stepping into this hell zone.

I let out a heavy sigh, before looking around to see many new faces around that I'm not familiar with and some faces that I've seen since last few years.

I walked through many of these people that are minding their own business, some chatting with each other, some actually starts to have a beef with me out of nowhere when all I did was just walking past by them.

I keep going until I reached my brand new renovated classroom, where I see there's one specific spot where most of the students hanging out. It's always at the back corner of the room. I can't see anyone faces as they're facing their back to me and blocking who-only-god-knows.

That is my cue to save my seat before it's too late to do so.

I sat at the second row because we all know how the teachers would ask most questions to the one that is very visible to them.

Right, so I'm on second row and nearly in the middle. With this, it'd be easy for me to pay attention.

While the third row is full too except for the fourth row, too distracting for someone like me.. I might fell asleep sooner if I'm actually sitting there.

Just right after couple minutes, observing my new class for the year, someone came in along with a greetng to all of our class.

"Good morning class, please return to your own seats as the class is about to start."

Wow.

A whistle can be heard across the room,
"Whatta hottie,"
"Phew"
"Oh, holy shiiit!"
"He's hot"
Many comments from the class, especially the fangirls who couldn't hold back seeing an attractive guy standing in front of their class.
