Chapter 7 - Altered memories

Ariruki's P.O.V

We got to the mansion and Sebastian led me upstairs. He opened the door and the room looked so beautiful.

"Sebastian. This room."

"My master requested you to have the best room possible."

"He did."

"Yes my lady."

"Thank you Sebastian."

He nodded and left. Takashi took care of my things.

"Takashi."

"Yes mistress."

"Do you think since, I am becoming a demon, I will lose all emotions."

"Of course. Demons do not have emotion."

"But do you think it will matter since I am still human."

"I do not know the answer to that question Mistress. I'm sorry."

"It's alright."

I left the room to look for Ciel. I ended up finding Sebastian instead.

"Are you looking for my master?"

"Yes."

"He is in his study."

"Thank you Sebastian."

He had his hand over his heart and he bowed. I walked up to Ciel's study and knocked on the door.

"Sebastian I told you to not disturb me right now."

"Earl Phantomhive."

"Lady Trancy. I'm sorry. I didn't know it was you. Please come in."

"I'm sorry if I was disturbing your work."

"It is alright. Did you need something."

"I don't know what to do anymore."

"Are you alright?"

"Ciel I don't want to become a demon."

"I'm sorry to say this but, I don't know how to help you."

"I know. I just needed to tell someone. I couldn't have told Sebastian. He would have just smiled at me. And Takashi would have said the same thing you did. I'm just confused right now. With everything. Like, am I really going to lose all emotion. Am I going to really be a demon forever. Just so many-"

I was cut off by the door opening and Sebastian coming in with a tea cart.

"Young lord and mistress."

"Thank you Sebastian."

"Mistress, are you alright?"

"I'm fine."

"Very well."

He bowed and then left the room.

"Ciel. I'm sorry to bother you. I'll be going now."

I left the room and walked into my own.

"Takashi. Is there anyway to stop this?"

"I do not think there is my lady. I am sorry."

"I see."

I walked downstairs to see Sebastian.

"Mistress, there is only one way to stop it."

"There is!?"

"Yes. It seams your butler. Has lied to you."

He had a smirk on his face.

"I see."

I walked back upstairs and Takashi was at the top of the stair case.

"Takashi!"

"Yes young lady?"

"You lied to me!"

He had a smirk on his face.

"Why are you smirking?"

He didn't answer me.

"You said you would never lie to me! You broke the contract!"

"I did not mistress."

"What do you mean?"

"You're thinking of Lord Phantomhive's contract. You never said anything about lying in this contract."

"How do I know about his contract!? He hasn't ever told me about it!"

"The fact that you are transforming into a full demon. All demons know about every other demons contracts."

"What! No! It can't be! I don't want to be a demon!"

Right at that moment. I woke up.

"A nightmare."

"Mistress. Are you alright. You were screaming."

"I'm fine, Takashi. May I ask you something?"

"Of course my mistress."

"You wouldn't ever lie to me would you?"

"Of course not."

"And you wouldn't ever betray me."

"Never young mistress."

"Good."

"Now. Please get back to sleep. You do not want to get ill."

"Of course not."

I slowly closed my eyes and not too long after, I was asleep.

Ciel's P.O.V

"Ciel. I'm sorry to bother you. I'll be going now."

She left. I called Sebastian up.

"You needed me young lord?"

"Is there any way of stopping someone from transforming into a demon?"

"There is. But, it is a very terrifying process."

"And?"

"If you're talking about the young lady, then I would need to put her to sleep."

"I don't care what it takes. If she doesn't want to be a demon, change her back."

"As you wish, my lord."

Sebastian's P.O.V

"As you wish, my lord."

I left the masters study and went to the young lady's room to find her already asleep.

"This is going to be harder then expected. I need to wake her up and put her back to sleep."

I walked over to her and thought of another process for doing so but, it would be more difficult than the other way. I took my left glove off and placed my hand over her forehead, thus allowing me to go inside her mind at will. I did what I needed to do with her memories. She started screaming. My lord came into the room.

"Sebastian! What are you doing to her?!"

"You said you didn't care what it took to change her."

"I didn't expect you to go this far as of changing her memories!"

"I am not changing her memories. I am adding one in and when the process is finished, she will no longer have that memory."

I took my hand off of her forehead and grabbed my young master and ran out the door before the other butler came in.
