You Can't Tell Me What to Do

I walked up to my room, sat on the bed the sighed heavily.

"That was good mistress, I'm glad you were able to keep your composure," Delihla said while untying my corset. While she was doing that I removed my scarf, revealing my Faustian contract on the right side of my neck. I handed my scarf to Delihla and she put it in my wardrobe.

While she was changing my clothes, I heard a knock at the door. I knew it would be my brother so before Delihla could answer the door I shouted, "go away Alois."

"Mistress, it's not the lord," Claude said.

"Well, what did my brother send you to tell me that he couldn't himself?" I said sarcastically.

"He has instructed me to give you this letter." I noticed the letter slide under the door. I was starting to get annoyed so I just shouted at him again.

"Can't you just tell me what he said? It's pointless to waste paper on something he could come and tell me himself," I stated. I didn't hear anything in response. "Tch."

I stood up from my bed and picked up the letter and opened it.

Dear May,

My apologies for shouting at you. If you could be so kind as to come to my office and we can discuss Phantomhive.

Sincerely, Alois your beloved brother.

I ripped up the letter and threw it away.

"Are you going to go mistress?" Delihla asked.

"I suppose, just to get him to leave me alone," I said.

"Then let me tie your corset again," she said retying it. "Do try to keep your composure, we don't want the same thing happening as last time."

"I know, I will try but he just irritates me so much," I said while getting up and walking to his study.

I knocked on the door and walked in when he told me to. "What did you want to discuss Alois? And why couldn't you just come to me instead of sending a letter? You do realize how pointless that is right?" I stated.

"I didn't know if you were changing or not so I had Claude send that letter," he said resting his chin in his palm.

"You're so ridiculous you know that brother? You're so immature as well I don't understand how we're related," I said sitting down in the chair across from his desk.

"I am not immature! You're the one that's immature! You didn't even listen to me when I said to only give Phantomhive the letter and nothing else!" He shouted while standing up in his chair abruptly and slamming his hands on his desk. "I should have just told you to send Delihla in," he sat back down and crossed his arms.

"This is exactly what I'm talking about Alois, you're such a baby and when I don't do what you want, you get angry. I've never ever acted that way because I know how to be mature."

"Aghh!" He shouted then stood up, ran over to me and slapped me. I didn't know how to feel because he hadn't done that in a while. I looked back over him and slapped him back.

Before I could even blink, he grabbed me and pushed me to the floor. I tried getting up but he pushed me down again with his foot.

"Let me go Alois!" I shouted while trying my best to get up. His heel was digging into my back and it was starting to hurt more and more.

"Can't go anywhere now can you May?" He said mockingly.

"Aghh, Alois I said let me go!" I tried getting up one last time but that time he was putting so much pressure on my back his heel started to draw blood. "Alois please, let me go!"

"Are you going to listen to me and do what I want?" He asked.

"You can't control me, I am my own person! Let me go! This is the last time I'll be asking nicely!" I knew that if he didn't let me go I wouldn't be able to control my composure any longer.

"Then say you'll do as I say and you won't disobey me!"

I knew he wouldn't listen to me and I couldn't take it anymore. I could feel my blood boiling and the pain in my back started to become less and less. I pushed myself up and once I was finally up to my feet I pushed him to the ground forcefully.

"May!" He shouted. I did the exact same thing he did to me and pressed my foot on his chest. "Ahh, that hurt!"

"Now you know how it feels," I stated.

Before I could do anything else, Claude and Delihla ran in. I looked at Delihla. "Don't follow me," I said before running out of the manor.

Alois' P.O.V

She ran out when Claude and Delihla ran in.

"Claude, what happened to May?" I asked confused and scared.

He kneeled down to me. "Your highness, she's part demon. She had to become part demon in order to live," he explained to me.

"What does that mean? What had to happen to her?" I kept asking questions because I was just so confused. "I don't want anything bad to happen to her Claude."

"Nothing will happen to her your highness. I'll make sure of that," he said.

"You promise?" I asked.

He got down on one knee and bowed, placing his hand on his heart. "Yes, your highness. I promise that she won't be harmed."

"Good," I said. I looked up at May's maid. "Aren't you going to follow her?" I asked.

"My mistress gave me an order not to follower her, I will follow my orders," she said.
