Something Missing

Surprise

I walked towards the pizzeria, on the sixth night of my job. I opened the door and walked towards the stage. The animatronics were still in 'sleep mode', as so to speak. I smiled up at them before making my way to the pirate's cove. I pulled back the curtain and looked at Foxy. He was slumped up against the back wall with his eyes closed.

"Hey, Foxy?" I called out. His eyes flickered open and the yellow light shined from the bulbs. He smiled up at me. I put out my nub to help him get up. He stood and we walked out from behind the curtain. Suddenly Foxy covered my eyes.

"Wha-?"

"It's a surprise", he whispered. I smiled softly and felt myself be led through the pizzeria. Suddenly a salty, cheesy, warm smell hit my nose. Foxy pulled his hand back and I almost drooled at the sight I was seeing. A HUGE pizza laid on the table with makeshift candles stood lit on top of it. Chica, Freddy, Bonnie, and Foxy stood there grinning.

"We wanted to thank you for all you've done sweetie", Chica said.

"Yeah, you're the first security guard that didn't treat us like monsters", Bonnie said. I felt my face heat up.

"I-it's no big deal, I'm only being myself", I stuttered. They all grinned.

"Thank you Andy", they all said together. I looked down at the pizza and took in a massive breath. I blew out every single candle.

"We were going to get ya a cake, but Chica's the only one who knows how to cook, and all she cooks is pizza." Freddy said while scratching his head.

"I love it", I said happily. He smiled and I looked down at the pizza. Suddenly, I got a sick feeling. I turned around and Goldie was standing in the doorway. He walked over to the table and stared at the pizza.

"Aw is this pizza for me? You shouldn’t have." he said while picking up the giant pizza. Chica's eyes lit up.

"That's not for you", she said menacingly. She snatched the pizza from him.

"Aw come on... just one bite?" hey asked sweetly. Chica growled. He reached for it but she dodged him. Goldie then started to chase Chica around the restaurant, while Foxy, Bonnie, Freddy, and I sat here and watched. Suddenly Chica tripped and the pizza went flying. Everybody tried to catch it, all except me of course. Goldie caught it and ran from the entire crew. I laughed as I watched them screaming and cursing at Goldie while they ran.

"ANDY, LOOK OUT!" Foxy screamed. I looked to my left and the pizza hit me dead in the face. I felt cheese run down my neck and onto my shirt. I opened my mouth and took a giant bite of face pizza. I bit a hole through it and I now saw their shocked expressions. I chewed happily until Foxy came over. He slid the pizza off my face and onto the table. I felt grease and cheese slide down my cheeks and I chuckled slightly. I looked up at foxy and grinned. He suddenly burst out laughing and I soon joined in. Bonnie and Chica were rolling around on the floor while Freddy chuckled. I licked the side of my face and groaned in delight.

"Good pizza Chica", I said. I looked around and noticed that Goldie had once again disappeared.

"I'm gonna get that jerk," Freddy muttered to himself. I shook my head.

"It's okay, really". I stood up and walked over to the bathroom, hoping to get at least some of the grime off of my face. I turned on the faucet and let the water run over my arms. My bandages were getting soaked so I ripped them off with my teeth. I put my stubs under the cold water and splashed my face. I reached over and grabbed a paper towel out of the dispenser and carefully held it with my nubs. I rubbed the paper over my face and threw it into the trash. I looked at the mirror and frowned. My reflection was looking back at me tauntingly and I growled. I rushed out of the bathroom and walked back to the others. I swore I heard a faint chuckle as I left the room. The others were cleaning up the mess and I saw Chica holding her master pizza. She had a gloomy look on her face as she tossed it into the trash. I walked up to her and touched her shoulder.

"It was delicious Chica, best one yet. I'm glad I got to taste it, thank you".

Her eyes instantly lit up.

"I bet I could do even better!" she exclaimed happily. I grinned and nodded. I glanced up towards the clock on the wall. It was already 5:57am. I sighed. The others looked up at the clock too. They all started to walk back to their places and I walked back to the security office. I waved to Foxy as I passed Pirate's Cove and to the others as I walked past the stage. I looked back at them and smiled, and then I stepped out into the dark.

Freddy's P.O.V

I smiled as I watched him go, until a certain yellow twin walked into the room.

"Have you made a decision?" Goldie asked. I looked down at the floor, then back at the others. They smiled sadly and shook their heads no. Foxy even declined.

"We will not scare anymore people Goldie. It's the same reason we got shut down in the first place. We've made our decision, and you can't change it." I said powerfully. Something...changed in Goldie. He looked down at the floor and started to chuckle darkly. The chuckles then turned into laughter. He raised his head and he had a dark grin on his face. He started walking towards the stage. I looked over at Bonnie and Chica. They nodded and we all three jumped off and collided with Goldie. He threw us off of him and I hit the wall, hard. Foxy came screaming out of Pirate's Cove, but Goldie swung his hand back and hit him dead I the face. He went flying back into the hallway. I shook my head and stood up. I rushed at him but he grabbed my neck and lifted me into the air and threw me once more. I dizzily looked up at him. I saw him walk towards Foxy. He opened the control panel in him, and did something. Foxy shot up and stood still. He looked like he did on that day, in 1987. His eyes were black, and all the emotion was gone. He proceeded to walk back to Pirate's Cove and close the curtain. He did it to Chica and Bonnie as well, and then proceeded to walk over to me.

"You should've accepted my offer, things didn't have to go this way", he said menacingly. I felt my back get open and my control panel was opened.

"Surprise", he whispered

"Andy...I'm sorry", I said before it all went black.
