"Bumblebee! Smokescreen! I swear to Primus, if you lay a single claw on that human, you won't get any honeycombs for a week!" Ratchet's annoyed voice came from the back den that connected to the main medicine den, where the herbs were usually stored.

Both adolescents giggled as they took turns sniffing and jumping around the girl who lay unconscious on the moss. Their playtime was interrupted when a very angry medic came storming into the den and easily bowled them over with one swipe of his paw.

"But Raaatchet! We've never seen a human before!" Bumblebee whined, instinctively curling up when Ratchet lifted him by the back of his neck with his jaws.

"And you don't ever need to. Now please, get out of my scales before I get Ultra Magnus to make up some chores for you! You're getting too heavy for me to carry...." Ratchet growled, carrying Bumblebee out of the den and setting him down in a patch of grass. The old medic then returned for Smokescreen and brought the whiny youngling out as well. "I don't have time to deal with your antics. Go play somewhere else."

Smokescreen pouted and rolled his eyes. "You're not my mom." He retorted sassily, turning his back to Ratchet.

"I may not be your mother, but I took care of you when you were just a hatchling! I have every right to act like your parent!" Ratchet shot back, glaring at Smokescreen before nudging him forwards with his snout. "Now go annoy someone else!"

"Sheesh, I didn't know you were that old..."

"I said go!"

Smokescreen just scoffed and ran off, a sulky-looking Bumblebee right behind him.

Ratchet watched them go and sighed heavily, shaking his head as he returned to the medicine den. To blow off some steam, he decided to sort herbs until the girl woke up. During that time, Optimus joined him and the two had a conversation about what to do with the girl once she woke up and the strange metal thing that Ratchet had found earlier.

Surprisingly enough, the girl didn't wake up in the time it took for Ratchet to sort the herbs, which wasn't very long since he was an expert at it by now. So, to pass the time, Ratchet decided to just lay down and relax in his moss nest.

Around two hours passed before Ratchet noticed movement coming from the silver-haired girl. He lifted his head when he heard her groan and studied her with watchful blue eyes, making sure she wasn't hurt or something. He didn't smell any blood earlier when he first checked her over, so he doubted she was injured now.

After a few minutes, the girl slowly sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Mm... what happened....?" She mumbled, blinking several times to clear her vision as she looked around.

"You fainted, so I brought you back to camp to make sure you weren't hurt." Ratchet winced when the girl screamed again and sighed, tossing a piece of moss at her head to make her stop. "Relax, you're fine."

"Where am I?! Why did you take me here?! What even are you?!!" The girl shrieked, standing up and flailing her hands in the air. "Why is everything so big?!"

"You know, I liked it better when you were unconscious..." The old medic grumbled, pushing himself to his paws and stretching for a moment. "If you would stop screaming for just a second, I can explain everything to you." He added, padding over to where the girl was standing and sitting back on his haunches.

The girl surprisingly listened, plopping back down onto the moss and staring up at Ratchet with wide eyes. "Y-You're that talking dragon...."

Ratchet rolled his eyes in annoyance. "I have a name, you know."

"Well you never told me what it was!"

"Because you fainted."

"Because you scared me!"

"Look, this isn't getting us anywhere. So let's just take a step back and breathe." Ratchet said, his voice strained with annoyance. He was really trying hard not to snap at this girl. "My name is Ratchet. I am a dragon and before you ask, yes, we do exist. Now, I brought you to my clan's camp because protocol says I can't leave a human who just witnessed my existence out in the woods." He muttered in a dull tone.

"S-So I wasn't supposed to see you....? Why...? I was just going to get my laptop that I forgot!" The girl replied, suddenly freezing up. "My laptop.... where is it?!"

"If you keep freaking out like that, you're going to have a heart attack. As for your.... laptop, was it...? I can't give it back to you until our leader, Optimus, sees it." Ratchet answered rather quickly, already getting frustrated by the girl's constant questions and freak-out sessions.

"Why does he have to see it? It's mine!" The girl retorted, crossing her arms and huffing like a child having a tantrum. "Who even is this 'Optimus' anyways?"

Ratchet just gave her a deadpan expression before lifting his head to look into the back room of the den. "Optimus, the girl would like an audience with you. Oh, and bring her... laptop thingy....." he called.

A few minutes passed before Optimus came out of the room, the girl's laptop carefully grasped in his jaws.  He padded over to Ratchet and gently set it down, turning his attention to the girl. "I'm sorry if we've caused you any inconvenience by taking this device. I'm sure Ratchet has explained everything, yes?"

"THERE'S MORE OF YOU?!"
