Seungmin Pov
Heart pounding I rushed around the next corner. I leaned against the wall, hiding even more.
I was curious about Innie. If he really gave a present to his secret admirer or if he just forgot to do it. Well, the first one was true.
Now I stood here, smiling like an ideot while reading the letter in my hands over and over again, smile growing bigger and bigger because of his cute words.
Why was I rushing so much? It was kinda risky to open his locker at lunch time, too many students were here. But luckily I managed to do it quickly, grabbing the letter and white rose, I wasn't really surprised at the flower since Innie asked me which one he should get, running away to the next spot I could open the letter.
The worst thing was that I could imagine him saying those words as I was reading it. In that letter he was thanking me for all those gifts, saying that that he appreciated it so much. But there was something which I didn't like the idea of. He asked if he could see me, wanting to know my identity. Jeongin also wrote that I didn't have to if I wasn't comfortable.
But the fact that he wanted to know made me kinda... sad.
On one side I really wanted to tell him. Tell him everything. Tell him how I feel, tell him that his smile is gorgeous, making me want to cuddle him and shower him with kisses all day long.
Tell him that I'm the admirer. Gosh, I would even tell him that it first was a dare I was annoyed of first, but now I'm so thankful it actually have happened. But there was this other side, telling me to just... not tell him. Keeping things like they are, keeping my identity a secret. Maybe even stop doing this whole thing, he knew me anyways, so I still would be in contact with him.
But I quickly scrambled the idea, reminding myself of how happy Innie got every time he found even just a flower in his locker. How a wide smile plastered on his face just because of my presents. I couldn't break his little heart like that.
I was pulled out of my train of thoughts when I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I looked at the person to me left. "Hey, whatcha doin'? Why aren't you coming to the cafeteria?" Chan asked smiling, looking at me, glancing down a few times.
I glanced down at my hands as well, eyes widening when I noticed that I still had Innie's letter and white rose in my hands, hiding both behind my back quickly.
Chan let out a giggle. "We were worried, Mr. Admirer." I almost overheard the last part but soon I realized what he said, looking at him with a shocked expression, eyes widening even more.
"H-how..." I mumbled and looked down because of embarrassment. "I already had the feeling that you're the one doing this but now it's confirmed. Don't worry, Innie doesn't know. I just guessed it because I knew about Innie's plan giving gifts back." Chan explained, giggling at some points.
"You won't tell him, right?" I asked, still shocked but more relieved at Chan's words. "Maaaybe" he giggled but as he saw how my expression darkened he backed off a little and said nervously: "Just kiddin'. Won't tell, promise."
"Does someone else know about that?" Chan asked whispering, not wanting to get the attention from the other students.
"Yeah, Sana figured out herself and Hyunjin, Changbin, Felix and probably Jisung and Minho know too, because we played truth or dare, just don't ask." I said.
"Oh so you're 'forced' to do it?" Chan asked tilting his head a bit. "No, no! I had to do it for one week but I wanted to continue because I kinda..." I made it clear quickly but didn't finish me sentence.
"You lik-" Chan wanted me to continue but was interuppted by a slightly worried Sana, making her way to us. "Geez, don't worry me so much." Sana was relieved to see us but seemed a bit mad.
"Sorry." Chan quickly hugged Sana as the both giggle. "Ew gross" I said looking away from those two, actually smiling to myself because they remained friends even after Sana's rejection.
"Now I know about the admirer thing too." Chan giggled once again, making my head snap at their direction again because I didn't expect him to mention it now.
"It was so obvious. Congrats for being the last one to know, except Jeongin of course." Sana sarcastically said.
"But we really have to get to the others." Sana continued and grabbed Chan's hand, dragging him in direction cafeteria where we should meet the others.
"Hey! Gross besties, wait for me!" I shouted after them as I quickly shoved Innie's present in my backpack and making my way to the cafeteria as well.
Smiling to myself, my mind trailed to Innie again, thinking about his words, making my heart pound even faster.
Geez, how am I able to survive lunch? Just looking at him will remind me at his letter.
