Chapter 1 (intro)

My name is Raven, Raven Quinn. I live in a town called Wallerwillow, where everyone has it all. The perfect house, the perfect children, the perfect lives. My town was right next to the water, filled with beautiful people, beautiful views, and beautiful everything. Then there's my side of town, called greadenview. That's where all of the people that are "poor" says the rich kids, as we call them "Prks" (Petty Rich Kid Squad). My mom tells me and my family we aren't poor and that we just can't afford a lot. I know my mom lies. She's been lying about being in poverty for 16 years of my life. My family is pretty chaotic alone. I have my mom Kate, my older brother Carson, and my younger sister Violet. My mom works her ass off in a shitty job for me and my siblings to have a chance for education that they never did. Even though her job is dangerous she still makes a better future for us. So she sent us too the best public school there is, Perci High. Home of the gods. Even though my school is public, we have horrible uniforms. Boys wear a button up white shirt with black high-wasted pants, suspenders, and black dress shoes. Girls get the worst. We get a white long sleeve shirt, a black spaghetti strapped dress to put over, and black flats. I must admit I hate the uniforms but it's the only nice piece of clothing I own. My brother loves the uniform due to its "humble" nature, but I would disagree. But you don't know the whole story. So let's get into it.
