New Year In High School: Freashman (Book 1)

It was just another ordinary day like any other, except that it was the first day of high school. Summer had went by so fast and now I have to go and listen to boring teachers talk all day. I also have to see my cheating ex-boyfriend it had been one whole month since I had seen him. I just dont know what im going to do when I see him, I had thought that he loved me because I loved him but I was totally wrong. We had been dating for three years i thought we were going to be together forever. But we were both only fifteen and he didnt want to be with me anymore. Thats when he told me he had been cheating on me, I dont know what happened to him he used to be so nice and a gentleman. I guess I was just stupid to believe everything he had said and done. I think im finally over him but its kind of hard to get over some you have been with for that long. But, hey its a new year with hot new guys and I get to see my friends. OMG I haven't seen them all summer because I have been on vacation, I miss them so much. I'm not popular or a loner im just an average girl. I dont have many friends I just have my three girls and thats all that I need. We have been friends since preschool and plan on being friends until the end of time. We all have a different personality which is wierd since we are such good friends. There is Britany who is the girl-girl and always looks her best and is really smart. Then there is lauren who is our tomboy but she is gorgeous and she does pretty good in school but isnt the smartest. Thirdly there is Avery she is the rebel of the group gets in touble a lot but she is smart although most people dont know that. Lastly the is me Tori Connor's I am what people would call average im not a girly-girl, a tomboy, or a rebel. Im just me I get good grades and like to spend my time at the beach or sometimes at the mall. My friends like to say that I am funny and a little sarcastic at times, okay maybe a lot. But I like to be me and not pretend to be someone else. My girls and I are always here for each other and that will never change no matter what. Oh I almost forgot about my family I have an older brother who is a senior this year I know 'fun' for me right. Our mom is hardly ever home she is usually out working, because she is a doctor. My brother and I have learned that we have to count on ourselves but know that she is only trying to make sure we have what we need and whatever we want. We are rich, yes but we would rather be pour and have our mom home with us but she doesn't see it that way. Our dad had died when I was four and my brother was six we loved him very much but had to learn to let go, he would want us to move on and live a happy life. Okay now that you know a little about me I should start getting ready for school I only have an hour to get ready. It takes a while for a girl to get ready everyone knows that. So I ran to the bath room once in there I shut the door locked it and took off my clothes. As soon as I got in the water I felt the hot water prickle down my skin it felt so good. After I was done I got out wrapped a towel around me and decided to do my hair first. I straighted it and then straighted my bangs over to the side. I then walked out of the bathroom and into my walk in closet. I picked out denim blue jean shorts and a dark blue flowy tank that said young wild and free on it. I then went to pick out a pair of dark blue supras to wear. On my way out of my room I picked up my bag and my iphone, ready to get the first day of high school over with! I made my way down stairs to find a note that my mom had left, i picked it up and read it. It said '' Sorry I wasnt there to say goodbye on you first day, I had to go in early to take care of a patient. I hope you both have a great day and don't get into to much trouble please. Love, Mom''. I felt hot breath on my neck and turned around to see that my brother had been standing over me reading the note. ''You know you could have given me a had attack'' I said, he could have been some murder or something he was os quiet when he came down how did I not hear hime. ''Well then it would have been my fault you were the one that was not paying any attention'' he said while smirking, whatever he is just an arrogant jerk who thinks he is all that just like his friends. That is why I am never here when his friends Im always at one of the girls house. ''Yeah whatever, you know I was reading the note'' I said. ''Yeah i knew that, thats why it was so funny to sneak up behind you'' he said yet again smirking. ''Okay whatever can we just go before we are late for the first day'' I said. ''Sure wouldn't want the good girl to be late now would we'' he said. ''Oh shut up'' I said, as we were walking towards his car. I wasn't old enough to have my lisence and I didnt want to ride the bus so I had to ride with him. He had a really nice car that my mom had bought him for his sixteenth birthday it was a red 2011

chevrolet camaro. Atleast I got to ride to school in style only if it wasnt with him, sometimes I didnt want to admit that he was my brother but most of the school knew he was. Thats why I dont get picked on or made fun of that I was glad for but he was really over protective when it came to guys being around me. Since my dad isnt here anymore he is even more protective than he should be. When my ex-boyfriend Kyle had admitted that he cheated on me my brother wanted to kill him but I had to convince him not to. But the day my brother saw him he messed him up pretty bad. Nothing serious or anything just a blackeye, cut lip, cut eyebrow, and a broken nose. It could have been worse but luckly it wasnt I wouldnt be able to live with my self knowing that he ruined his life because of me. He is really smart and is on the football team, he has already been accepted to some of the top collages. He has a great life ahead of head and even though he gets on my nerves some of the times I would really hate to see him ruin it.
