"Have you decided what you're wearing to Erin's wedding yet?" Natalie asked you, looking up from her laptop for a split second. You shook your head with a dissapointed look on your face.

"No, I have a few dresses, but nothing that I'm overly a fan of." You explained with a shrug, "What about you?" you asked and she opened up her phone and tossed it over to you on the couch from her position on the bean bag. You looked at the screen and saw an adorable pink dress that you knew would look amazing on her, "I love it, Nat! Do you have a date?"

"I'm taking this guy, Ray, that I met through Cass, nothing special." She shrugged and you nodded, looking back at your own phone after returning Natalie's to her.

"I still don't have one." You didn't bother hiding the disappointment in you voice as you spoke. The truth was, you had been on dates with several boys you could've obviously taken, but there was only one boy you wanted to take as your date. But, that boy was an oblivious idiot who had no idea and couldn't take a hint. However, so were you.

You didn't notice David perk up as you said this, but Natalie did. She knew how he felt about you, even though he hadn't told her. She could tell since the very first time she met you and saw the way David looked at you, but he'd never admit it to her. She was also confident that you felt the same. But, she knew you were both too scared to ruin your friendship. So, she decided to take matters into her own hands.

David looked over at Natalie as you continued to scroll through your phone, nudging her head in your direction. David furrowed his eyebrows at Natalie, and she mouthed a 'ask her!' to him. He shook his head rapidly, getting Natalie to roll her eyes.

"Why don't you two just go together? You don't have a date yet either, right David?" She innocently asked him and he glared at her. He quickly wiped the glare off though, as you looked over at him with a blush.

"I don't know, do you want to?" You asked in a hopeful tone. You would rather go with one of your best friends than a random stranger from tinder after all.

"Sure, if you want to." David shrugged, trying not to be too over enthused. Natalie smiled, before sealing the seal herself.

"Great! It's settled then." She shot you both a wide grin, and you both looked away from each other to hide the internal happiness you were both feeling.

The next few weeks went by, and before you knew it, it was the day of Erin's wedding. David was out for the morning to do some last minute bits with the boys so Natalie invited you over to get ready for the wedding with her.

"So, are you excited?" Natalie cheekily bumped you with her shoulder. You just rolled your eyes, trying to hide the blush that was appearing on your cheeks.

"About seeing Erin get married? Absolutely!" You replied, Natalie now being the one to roll her eyes as you both applied your last layer of lipstick to your lips.

"You know what I meant. Wedding season's the perfect time to admit your feelings for someone, just saying!" She pressed some more as you sighed.

"I'm not risking our friendship, Nat. There's too big of a chance that he won't feel the same." You looked down at your hands as you twiddled with your thumbs.

"Y/N, look at you!" Natalie yelled, "You're a smoke show, and David clearly likes you as much as you like him. I mean, how could he not?" She expressed some more before leaving the bathroom to get her dress from her closet. You looked at your reflection in the mirror, admiring your natural make up that still managed to outline your favourite features of your face. Your hair was lightly curled, making them look natural and not overly hairspray. Could David feel the same? You thought to yourself before joining Natalie in her room to get changed.
