A New Beginning: The Light of A New Hope

All was lost this very night, Yoyu was investigating all that had transpired at the cave and he had found nothing but Alva the Madou Ring and Fusa's brush, no survivors were left during the brutal massacre, Yoyu was ashamed, "I should have been able to prevent all this from happening." He mentally chastised himself. All of a sudden, a light had appeared in the dark cave, it started out low, and then it started to grow, soon the light had taken a humanoid shape, as the light had dimmed down, Yoyu could now see in front of him was a young man who looked as if he was in his late teens, guessing correctly he could accurately be 18 years old. The boy was Caucasian, warm chocolate brown eyes, raven black hair, wearing Mikage's clothes and the Rozeken in his right hand, the elderly man seemed to have been very surprised by the youths appearance, was he a remnant of Mikage? Was he the answer to Fusa's prayers? Just what was this young man's agenda anyway. Yoyu cautiously approached the young man and asked, "How did you come to be here?" The youth replied, "I do not know." "Do you have a name my boy?" "Yuto." "Is that all you know?" "Yes, I think so." Observing the boy, there was no trace of darkness inside of him, only a strong light that kept illuminating in dark times, an enduring light of such strength and warmth. "There was a battle that had occurred here, and it's outcome was a great tragedy, why have you been summoned here?" Yoyu asked Yuto, the boy smiled serenely as he replied, "It is because I wished to help that I have come into being." Yoyu looked down to see that Yuto was holding a bracelet that looked like it was made out of jade in his other hand as his main hand had the Rozeken in it. "What is that, have you always had that in your possession?" "Yes... I suppose that it has always been with me." Despite saying that, there was some uncertainty in his voice, perhaps because he had been born recently, nothing is truly accurate at this sense. As soon as Yuto said that however, a maniacal cackle had emitted through the cave, the woman Amily was still there. "This little welp, he thinks he can succeed in actually amending what has been done here, newsflash kiddie... DARKNESS HAS WON, YOUR PRECIOUS LIGHT HAS LOST!!! Yoyu felt the color leave his face, he had failed to stop the tragedy, failed to save Mikage's soul and his pupil Fusa, but before he could fall on his knees in despair, the boy Yuto had taken Fusa's brush and Alva, he wore no gloves and his hands were smooth and unmarked, placing Alva on his right ring finger he now pointed the Madou brush at Amily, the fallen priestess turned Horror chuckled at the sight of the young man, "A little virgin Makai Knight... thinking he is ready for a woman of my caliber, so out of his league." Yuto kept his eyes coldly glued to Amily as she tried to get to him, "Flaunting your body won't be enough to distract me, besides you don't really know who I am." Amily smirked, okay, she will bite and play this game with the little knight. "And who are you supposed to be, little boy?" For a moment Yuto's face softened and an expression of sadness and heartbreak was on it. "Your son... Yuto." Any humanity she repressed... the emotions of a mother long thought lost, vulnerability had overwhelmed her somehow, her son... reincarnated in front of her. "Yuto-kun?" Amily whimpered, taking advantage of the moment of weakness, Yuto used the spell sleeping in the Madou brush, but with his own modifications implanted into it. There was a scream, then Amily was gone, Yoyu looked confused as he asked, "You used the Darkness Seeking spell on her?" "With added modifications to it, I modified it to destroy the darkness that was previously inside her, I also permanently destroyed her physical form, her personality which will be rebuilt as someone else, and her memories were completely destroyed as well, and now she's right here." Yuto gestured to Alva, no more and no less, "What just happened? How long was I asleep for? What was my name again, I can't seem to remember it or anything else." "Alva, your name is Alva." Yoyu felt a huge grin form on his face, this youth truly was the light incarnate, a miracle and a new hope, and with the right training he would be a powerful Makai Knight and a very talented alchemist indeed.
