It would take several months for Yuto to quickly adjust to the life of a Makai Knight, but since he was already excelling at his profession increasingly well, his asking permission to wed was granted after a couple of hours of dancing with death itself. The day of the wedding had begun in the afternoon, for Yunxi (as of Chinese tradition.) had dressed in the traditional red wedding garb that women from her time period had worn, Yuto had also dressed himself in traditional red robes that a bridegroom would wear as the approaching bridal carriage carried by four Makai priests approached the wedding party of the group waiting for the bride to arrive, as soon as it was set down, Yuto had approached the caravan as the bridesmaid said the formal line, "Will the bridegroom please kick the sedan?" Yuto glanced down at the wooden railings used to carry the bridal carriage, he kicked the nearest end of the railing three times, as a response the red veiled bride had emerged from the caravan, he offered his hand to Yunxi to help her out of the carriage. As soon as he was looking at her face to face, Yuto had swept Yunxi off her feet into a bridal carry as the small wedding party had gasped at the sudden action but quickly recovered and applauded at the successful union of man and woman. "Han Yunxi, as of this day you are my lawfully wedded wife, we are now one of life, soul, heart, and love. From this day until the last, we shall be bound to one another." Yuto said, Yunxi could feel her heart skip a couple of beats as she experienced something similar to Deja Vu, as if someone had pledged a similar vow to her before, perhaps in a past life. Of course it had been a couple of minutes since that had happened, right now at the moment she was waiting for her new husband as she took a peek down the hallway lifting her veil for only a moment before she heard footsteps approaching and she placed the veil back where it was, Yuto had entered the room and trying to hide his smile by acting stoic, "You know that it is bad luck for the bride to lift her own veil by herself?" "Then why haven't you done it already? Are you trying to play a joke on me?" Finally cracking a smile due to his new wife's retort, he nonchalantly sat beside her and removed her veil, a coy smile on Yunxi's face as Yuto threw the veil across the room and... she felt like this had happened before, on her own wedding day she was experiencing some sort of deja vu, like she had been in a position like this before, she was now feeling a little nostalgic, Yuto in concern had one hand holding her hand and one hand gently caressing her face. "You seem to be a little distracted at the moment my love. Is there anything that you wish to tell me?" How could she end up marrying such a kind and understanding man after her experience of being treated as an undesirable person? By her family and by everyone else in general, she could not even believe that she had fallen in love with someone who loved so unconditionally, "I think that you are a rare treasure, you have been so understanding and kind to me that I do not know how to repay you." Kissing her hand, Yuto replied, "There is nothing to repay, you and I are husband and wife, we both know that it is important just to try to love and be loved in return." He always knew the right thing to say, she couldn't even hold back anymore because of his perfection that suddenly Yunxi had now pinned the now flustered and blushing young man on the bed, "I think that's enough sweet talk for now... I really think that I'm going to enjoy my wedding night." She felt a cocky smile on her lips as she pressed them against Yuto's passionately as her kiss was definitely searing with passion and fire. This was definitely a night they were never going to forget.
