Danielle's POV
I stare out the window and watch the trees and cars swoosh by as we drive down the expressway.
We pass a few signs, some deer, Halo Burger. We drive through an old town. You know, the ones you see in movies? Yeah, just like that. At least we don't live here.
We turn right onto Morrison Street. The car stops at an average sized house with a big window in the front and a nice yard. I grab my bookmark and close my book I read on the way, and hit pause on my iPod. I open the door and hopped out of the car.
"Okay grab a box and take it into the house.", My mom said pointing to the big window.
I grabbed a box that said DANI'S STUFF and took it inside. The house was pretty big inside and it was only the two of us so there's going to be some extra space. I set the box down and went back outside.
-Skip The Boxes-
When we finished unloading the moving van I picked out my room upstairs in the attic. It was pretty big and I had it all to myself. Mom said storage would be in the basement.
I set up my bed and carried in my big wooden bookshelf. I brought up my boxes and unloaded all of my books and pictures.
I had everything arranged how I wanted it. I looked at the clock on my nightstand 9:34pm, I should get to sleep. I climbed into bed after putting on my monkey shorts and matching tank top.
I tried so hard to go to sleep, but i kept tossing and turning.
I miss our old life.
I miss daddy.
I wish he was here.
He wouldn't have made me move here.
