HEY GUYS GUESS WHAT I'M NOT DEAD!!

HAHA SCHOOL DIDN'T KILL ME

*insert pterodactyl screeches and psychotic laughter*

The story is still going on, I haven't given up on it. Be patient whenever there's no new chapters ...please.... For my sake? Just be grateful because I even worked on this during school hours. I'm not being rude or mean, just giving you guys perspective on how I'm trying to be dedicated to writing but it's hard when I have life a and school kicking my ass (omg I cursed ooooooh)

Also you might have noticed the cover has changed... yea i decided to redo it... it hasn't changed much, but I did add some things. Some hidden things have been removed so they aren't relevant and because I didn't like them.

Might redo other covers of my other completed/uncompleted stories.

BTW be warned that there's gonna be some semi-gore. It won't be that bad though... as I'm pretty sure not everyone enjoys reading about blood and graphic wounds but still... also there might be scenes that might be painful to read as it involves characters talking about how much pain they're in.... basically edgy, cringed scenes. So be warned

Anyways, please enjoy the extra long chapter to make up for not providing frequent updates...

The rain continued to poor throughout the night as the remaining people of Haven struggled to fall asleep. No one blamed each other for not getting rest as maniacal creatures they've never seen before had just launched an attack on their home. Now their leaders and the freshie are horribly injured and supplies were running extremely low, even with 14 people (including the core four).

As breakfast was passed around, it was abundantly clear that all the rations were slowly disappearing; as there wasn't much food, water, or medicine to survive on for a while. There was more supplies hidden in the map room for emergencies; however, thanks to the Crawlers, the map room was destroyed. No one knew if the supplies had survived the Crawler attack the night before or was willing to go out there to check. With people gravely injured and no one brave enough to go outside after last night's events, things were beginning to look grim.

Austin was staring out the window, not really interested in eating the breakfast he was offered. Physically, he was feeling better. But Austin was having the hardest time coping with the fact that the group he had sworn to protect over the last four years was ambushed by creatures he knew virtually nothing about. But he was still thinking of a realization that smacked him over the head during his night watch: Crawlers were killable! They could be killed with the weapons he's been using the entire time. He saw Mario kill one with a simple spear, and he killed one with a gun. All this time, he feared those creatures every time he would run the maze with Michael, when really they could be killed, just by hitting their weak points.
