A different outcome (Who made me a princess)

Two days passed and there was not sign of Claude's brother yet. Lucas went with Athy to different places to do some tests about the curse. Athy didn't forget any important people the last two days but the last thing she could remember was the day of the debutante. She started a diary recently so that nobody had to explain everything to her every time she woke up. Today  Ijekiel and his father were at the palace to visit Jenette. Athanasia decided to spend her time with Lucas since her father was focused on how to lift her curse. But he promised that they would have tea together in the garden like usually. 

"What are you thinking about?"

"The whole situation with the curse bothers me. We spent so much time together in the last few days and I can't even remember it. It kind of makes me sad"

Wait. If she keeps forgetting everything then she would start to hate Claude again! And it could be that she only has the memories of her past self in a few what? Days? Months? It would be weird if one day she would just start acting as if she was in Korea. This was bad.

Really bad.

"Lucas, you have to promise me something!"

"Sure???"

"On the day when I forget you, you have to keep me in the emerald palace and keep everyone out of it. Only you will be allowed in there, okay?"

"Why?"

"I'll explain to you after the curse is broken. But please, Lucas, you have to promise!"

"Fine, I promise. But you have to promise me that you will explain one day"

"I promise"

They were on their way to the library. Once they passed the guards it seemed that something was bothering Lucas.

"Wait here, Princess it seems like a low class wizard blew something up. I'll be right back"

"How do you know?"

"Excuse me, but I'm the most powerful magician that has ever existed"

With that he vanished. Athy sighed... that guy would never change. She walked around in the library. 

"So we meet again, Lady Angel"

That voice! Why was he at the library?

"I've heard about your situation. Umm...Do you sill...remember me?"

Ijekiel looked at her with sad eyes. He kind of looked like a puppy.

"I do. But how did you get in here?"

"The guards didn't seem to mind when I went in so I though that this was the public Library"

Ugh. So they were only working when she was there. She needed to hire better guards. It was obvious that Ijekiel was lying but he looked at her with innocent eyes.

"But I'm glad you haven't forgotten me yet. It would break my heart if you couldn't recognize me. To be honest, when I have heard about your curse, I was worried"

He walked closer to her and kissed her hair. Athanasia didn't expect that and freezed. What the heck just happened? What happened to the little innocent boy she met at that time? And what about Jenette? She was the Heroine and Ijekiel the main lead... Wait, 

WAS IJEKIEL A CHEATER?

"Would you be so kind to tell me what you're doing with the princess"

Suddenly Ijekiel went flying and crashed into one of the shelves. Athanasia was sweating. how did it turn out like this. Did Lucas just yeet the main lead? No this had to be a dream. Ijekiel stood up. He was visibly in pain.

"Ah! Are you okay?"

Athys mind started working again. She had to help the son of a duke. 

"Don't come near him, Princess. He will dirty you"

Lucas glared at Ijekiel. Actually it was as if Lucas was threatening him. Was Ijekiel's life over? But what about Jenette? The heroine needed the male lead even if he was probably a cheater! That came out wrong...

"And who are you, if I might ask? Daring to attack me"

"Tsk. You'll find out soon enough if you keep talking"

They were glaring at each other. Was Athanasia supposed to be here? Because it seemed like it was dangerous to be there: The guards stormed inside the library but only Athy noticed them. When she saw them she mouthed 'Get help' to them. Hopefully they would get Claude.
