Breaking Point

(Kali P.O.V)
"M-May I ask why you would need to do that sir?" I ask, concerned.

"Yes, we just need some clarification on what exactly happened." One of the police officers say.

"Um, o-only if Yang would be up to taking about that right now. But can I ask for your name officer?" I say.

The officer with blonde hair and blue eyes takes out his badge. "Officer Jaune Arc. Badge number 45832."

"45832...45832, okay." I memorized.

"Sure come in. Make yourself at home." I say with hesitation. I look back at Yang to see her looking at the ground, terrified.

(Yang P.O.V)
No...NO NO NO NO NOT AGAIN. THEY'RE COMING FOR ME.

I feel Blake put her hand on my shoulder which does little to calm me. I take three deep breaths and get myself into the mindset that I need to put all of this behind me and get it over with.

Officer Arc slowly walks up to me ready to ask questions, that I'm not sure I'm ready to answer.

"Okay Yang, Whenever you're ready to tell me what happened go ahead." Officer Arc says softly.

I take a deep breath and begin telling my story....

(FLASHBACK)
I'm walking to get my clothes from my house, secretly. I really hope my dad and Raven aren't home, they're gonna kill me. As I head up the stairs, I hear my parents talking about ways to punish me in some room that I know's not mine, I hope.
    I take a deep breath and take cautious steps as I go towards the direction of my room. Grabbing the ripped up bag from my closet and packing clothes quietly, the next thing you know it, I feel a hard hit in the back of my head that makes me dizzy. I feel strong hands grab my shirt and pin me against the wall, and two other softer hands grab my hair and pulls painfully.

"Finally decided to come back huh." Raven snarled.

"I don't know where the hell you've been bitch, but what I do know is, you won't be able to leave when we're done with you." Tai chuckles darkly.

     They both let go of me. I don't even care what they're doing at the moment, I made a run for it. Immediately, I'm hit with a very hard object on the back of my knee which made me loose balance. After I fall, I feel a series of stomps, punches and hits all over my body and mostly on my head. My vision starts to blur and the last thing I see and hear is Blake screaming for me and fighting the off.

(END OF FLASHBACK)
      I feel soft hands rubbing the tears off my cheeks before I try to pull myself together. I look up at officer Arc, to see him glaring at the floor before the room is filled with an abrupt silence before officer Arc clears his throat.

"I want to...thank you Yang for sharing your traumatic story. I couldn't imagine what you're going through right now, and for you to be this age, I think this is all the information we need to confirm that this isn't the first time this has been happening to you. Because of this, you won't have to attend court because Raven Branwen and Tai-Yang Xiao Long are in trouble they will never be able to get out of." He says.

"Th-Thank you o-officer Arc-"

"Call me Jaune." He corrects, smiling softly.

Jaune stands up and walks to the door. "Thank you for your time, Mrs. Belladonna-"

"Just call me Kali." She interrupts

Jaune chuckles. "Well thank you for your time Kali," He says walking out of the door. He stops. "And Yang...Stay strong." He finished with a soft smile.

I smile back and nod as the door shuts closed. I run up to Kali and give her a bear hug.

"....Thank you so much." I whisper.

Blake comes up behind and hugs me while I cry in their arms.

Maybe family isn't so bad after all....
