After several performances and award shows today I finally arrived at the restaurant where we would be filming the annual BigHit company dinner, alongside BTS, Lee Hyun, Bang PD and all the staff who work at BigHit.
I was tired and running late, and it was clear due to the fact I was still wearing the outfit I wore to the last award show. I put on my white nike cap as soon I as noticed we were close to the restaurant, to make myself look a bit more causal and hide my tiredness.
I was wearing a pale blue skirt and a floral blouse, too formal for myself but I made sure I was wearing my usual white Air Forces and Nike socks instead of heels today.
"We are entering the compound, Nari. Are you okay?" Park Yon-Chae, my assistant manager said.
"Sure," I sighed, "As far as I can leave early, I sometimes enjoy the dinners." Eating with many people, live on VLive, is fine for me, but drinking completely puts me off. I am terrified of drunk people and it doesn't help that I am also a lightweight. Leaving the dinner early is fine and the viewers don't seem to mind, which makes the whole outing actually fun for myself.
Despite the fact I am an idol in the same company as Lee Hyun and BTS, I don't actually talk to them much. I get along with Lee Hyun because we are both solo artist and he is older than me, but I barely talk to anyone in BTS unless we are being recorded.
I can say I know Kim Taehyung, since we were both main characters on Hwarang, but in all honesty I didn't speak to him all too much since I was already close with Park Seo-Joon and spoke to him the most.
I adjust my cap as the car parks and take off my seatbelt. I wait for the new security guy, whose name I failed to learn, opens the door for me and I quickly exit the car and make my way into the restaurant through the back.
I open the door and per usual, I see the whole restaurant full with staff, but a few tables at the center empty except one long one, made for us to sit at. I stroll over with a smile, aware of all the cameras and lighting on, meaning we were being recorded Live.
"Nari!" Sejin, my manager, as well as BTS' calls out to me and everyone claps. I feel my face heat up a little and I feel glad I am wearing a hat.
"I'm so sorry I'm late!" I exclaim as I reach the table, "I'm so happy to see you guys this year!" I say and Lee Hyun stands up to hug me, which I return and starts the chain of hugs from everyone, to everyone.
Kim Namjoon, the leader of BTS, is the first to hug me while his other members hug each other, Lee Hyun and Sejin. "It's been a busy day, it's understandable" He explains and I nod with a smile.
