𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵, 2017.

After working hard in Japan throughout February, I was randomly told I needed to return to Korea. It was quite unexpected since I was sure we hadn't finished in Japan yet but apparently it was for something important.

Since Kim Sejin, my manager wasn't with me, I quickly asked Park Yon-Chae why I was returning early, only for her to tell me I was going to meet the person I would be collaborating with for the next album.

The new album talk started after the company dinner in January. Something about me collaborating with someone to produce an album, but no one would tell me whom I would work with on the album!

BigHit were really working hard to make it a secret and to produce this 'amazing' album. It became a big Project. Yon-Chae mentioned saving money so they paused my Run series since December! It really made me angry because the 50th episode was coming. I heard they also cut BTS' run series and I had to profusely apologize to them as well.

At least all of that cleared up when I arrive in Korea and was told we were going to meet my new partner and then film the 50th Run episode. I nearly pissed myself.

"So the person is in the room next over right?" I called out to Yon-Chae while sitting down as a lady did my makeup.

"Exactly." She nods, "You meet them and converse then we will film the Run episode."

"Okay. Yeah I get that." I say and the lady moves away, having finished my makeup. "But why is there a camera recording me?" I turn in the swivel chair and face the camera man, crossing my legs.

"The PD mentioned recording your reaction to be posted on your behind the scenes YouTube channel." Yon-Chae explains.

I cross my arms and sigh, "If you say so." I look at myself in the mirror and adjust my hat. The outfit for the Run episode was quite trendy. I quickly pick up the black fanny pack and clip it around my waist, tightening it after.

"Are you ready?" You-Chae asks and walks over to me. She stares at me for a minute then pats down my hair that's coming out of my white Nike cap.

"I am." I nod then chuckle, "But only if you think I look fine." I mention as she continues to look for any imperfections.

She quickly stops scrutinizing me and smiles, "I hope you become happier while making this album."

"I am happy." I state as Yon-Chae directs me to the room. "Most definitely happy."

I open the door and walk in. I look up and quickly notice cameras and lights. The room is dead silence, despite all the camera men in the room. I suddenly feel like I am in the wrong place and feel grateful for the fact that the room starts off as a narrow hallway, then expands. I am currently in the hallway part and I turn around to say something to Yon-Chae but I notice she isn't there.

I face forward again and see Sejin. I feel my face heat up as realization hits me. I just walked in on someone's recording!

I quickly walk forward, out of the corridor and see BTS sitting on chair in a square area in front of the cameras.

"I am so sorry I interrupted your recording!" I bow in a 90 degree angle towards BTS, Sejin and all the camera men.

"Excuse me?" One of the boys say.

I'm about to turn around and leave when Sejin places his hands on my shoulders, turning me to face BTS. I feel my face heat up a little and I can only imagine how red I would be.

"Nari." Sejin starts, "Meet the people you will be collaborating with. BTS!"

I immediately jump out of Sejin's hold and start sputtering along with the boys.

"Sorry, w-what??" I manage to say and glance over at the guys. Then I notice it. We are all wearing similar outfits. I look back over to Sejin and notice the smile on his face.

"So, I'm going to assume I heard wrong." I hear Yoongi say. I notice how a lot of the boys have stood up and how J-hope and Jin are laughing their heads off.

Sejin turns to the camera, "NARI Fans, Bangtan Fans. I present to you..." Sejin gestures to our shocked faces, "The Love Yourself Project, BTSxNARI!"

"What?" I manage to say again.

"I think Nari has stopped functioning." Namjoon comments and a few laugh while the rest are still trying to understand what just happened, like myself.

"Indeed." I mumble, "What are you trying to do Sejin? I am a girl. Let me spell it. G-I-R-"

"Of course Nari. And they are boys let me spell it B-O-" Sejin retorts

"Aish, I get it Sejin." I say and a member of staff brings a chair over to the group of boys, for me.

That's when it hits me again.

They are serious about this.

"Does that make us a co-ed group?" Jungkook timidly asks.

"Yes. The first in BigHit." Sejin smiles.

"Haha. Very funny Manager." Yoongi says.

I sit down in the chair and look at the guys. "So I am making an album with them?"

"Yes. An album series to be exact." Sejin nods. I place my hands of my face and pause to think while the others continue to question Sejin.

Seven boys, One girl.
Is BigHit looking for a scandal?

"What were all of you expecting when we told you you would be making an album with someone else?" Sejin suddenly asks.

"We all talked about it and were expecting some sort of boy group." Taehyung says and the boys agree.

"Maybe even a foreign singer." Namjoon adds. "What about you Nari?"

"Myself? I was expecting a foreign singer as well. A boy group never crossed my mind, let alone someone from the same company as myself! When I walked in I was convinced I was in the wrong room. I've never felt so surprised before!" I exclaim. Suddenly feeling stupid

"Well then! Welcome to the 50th RUN Special!" Sejin announces.
