Jungkook didn't exactly like Nari at the beginning of BTSxNARI. But he soon got over it when he noticed how much Nari liked him. Nari considered him to be the cutest person ever, constantly calling him Kookie or JK. As time passed, the difference of gender in the group was forgotten and they became good friends. Whenever they stand together, they are considered to be the cutest people ever for their adorable toothy smiles. 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚞𝚝𝚎 𝚙𝚊𝚒𝚛

Having both been on Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth at the end of 2016, the pair were fairly familiar with each other. They hadn't contacted each other since the show, but would still greet each other. This changed as soon as BTSxNARI was formed. The quickly became best friends and became closer each year.
