A couple of dates later

*Anastasia's POV*

Things between me and Silas have been going great. We constantly are going on dates because he claims he wants to get to know me a little bit better. Today makes three months of our little situation and he wants me to meet his parents. I know things are moving quick but I mean I'm 26 years old it's time that I start growing up and meeting his parents is the first step.

I finished my outfit putting with my open toed clear heels that someone sent to my P.O. box a couple of days ago. I took a glance in the mirror before walking into my living room turning off the television.

I pressed the elevator button waiting a couple of seconds before the ding noise went off. (She lives in a penthouse) I walked on sticking my key in so it would take me down to the lobby. As I walked off the staff of the building waved my response a smile. They must have been shocked because one women looked taken back.

I continued walking until I spotted the all black limousine waiting for me. Pierre the chauffeur opened the door for me. I came to learn his name like two weeks ago after me and Silas's first date.

"Thank you Pierre," I smiled stepping in

"Hi gorgeous," Silas said handing me a bouquet of red roses. I smiled planting a kiss onto his cheek

"Why thank you Silas, there beautiful," I said and he grabbed my chin

"Just as you are," he said placing a kiss upon my cheek

"You sure do know how to make me blush,"

"And I wouldn't have it any other way," he said holding my left hand caressing it

~50 minutes later~

We arrived at a restaurant by the name of "Mon Amour" (My love). The scenery was beautiful it had white lights around the perimeter of the restaurant and beautiful clothed tables with red roses along the path of entrance. I was so amazed that I didn't see Pierre holding the door open.

"Ms. Perez," he said coughing

"Oh my apologies," I said scooting towards the door

"No problem," he said closing the door behind me

"This is absolutely gorgeous," I said in awe

"Only for you," he said opening the restaurants door

"Now tell me how do you know about this place, I've never heard about it," I said walking to the hostess stand

"My dad brought my mom here and told me about it," he said giving the hostess his name for reservations

"Well isn't that sweet," I said smiling

"I suppose," the hostess led us to a table where a woman who look to be in her late 30's and a man that resembled Silas just with a few strands of silver hair sat. As we drew closer I seen their facial expressions drop. My smile dropped as well they seemed rude.

"Mom, dad," Silas said sitting in the booth

"Hello," I said smiling and their expressions remained the same. I squinted a little because the man seemed familiar

"Son, may we speak privately," his father insisted completely ignoring me and I was taken back by how disrespectful they were

"No, whatever you have to say in front of me you can say in front of Anastasia," he said with a serious facial expression

"Well fine, I gave you three months to find your bride and you chose wrong you will now go by my decision or face the consequences," he said standing up with the woman in hot pursuit

"This is completely absurd, you can not make my decisions for me," Silas said getting up following behind them. I sat at the table in complete shock at what had just happened. After about five minutes of Silas and his father going back and forth he walked back into the restaurant and approached the table.

"We must be on our way," He said helping me out of my seat

"I suppose so," I said getting up walking towards the limousine and there was Pierre waiting with the door wide open

"Ms. Perez," he said nodding

"Thank you Pierre,"

"Pierre take us to her home then I will give you further instructions," Silas said with no expression on his face which was definitely not like him

We rode in silence for about 40 minutes excluding the typing of his phone and my breathing before I finally broke it.

"So are we going to completely just ignore what just happened back there," I said looking over at him

"What do you want me to say?" he said still looking down at his phone still typing

"At least explain what all that was about," I said snatching his phone so that he could pay attention and see how annoyed I was

"What is there to explain isn't it quite clear!" his voice roared

"I didn't want to say it but your parents are fucking racist and I don't know if that is clear to you but it is to me and for you not to even defend me back there was crazy!" I said giving him back that same energy

"They are not they just want to do what is best for me," he said looking at me as if I was below him

"Oh and me a black girl from the south sure doesn't fit that picture does it," I said looking out the window because my eyes began to water

"If the shoe fits wear it ," he said and that was the knife in my heart

"And your nothing but a privileged white boy who got rich because of his parents," I said and we were at my building so I opened the door and ran inside

I will never try to love again
