Who does he thinks he is? I am so going to kill that Adam Carter, crow or not. Nobody, do you hear me? NOBODY calls me a kid. I'm going to make his life a personal hell. I am going to..to...uh.
He looked at me with a mix of fear and incomprehension. I punched him again, but this time he fell to the ground with a thud. He gritted his teeth before putting his to hands on the floor and getting up.
"Never call me kid again." I said slowly. Then I turned to Carlos who just looked at me surprised. He then laughed really hard.
"Remember me to not get on your bad side." He said with his sexy spanish accent. My cheeks reddened and I just smirked. This guy was going to make me be a softy if it continued like this.
"Can you say, why you brought a crow into our QG? Because I hope your father doesn't know he is here." Richard asked making his scythe disappear
"Well I brought him here to protect him from the government and the president." Winter answered hesitantly.
"Protect him from the government or the police?" Fox said angrily looking at the poor boy I had beaten up.
"I don't need your help." I heard a voice whisper softly.
"Can you please try to understand that he is dangerous?!" Continued Fox raising his voice and ignoring Adam who just looked at the adolescent.
"That's why we need to keep him away from them." Winter said exhausted.
"Winter who are you trying to protect? Us or him?" The boy argued.
"I want to do what is best for us. Why don't you understand?" She said her mouth dropping in disappointment.
"If I can speak my mind I have to agree that I can take care of myself." Adam smirked while rolling his eyes.
"You will shut up right now or I'll cut off your tongue and throw it in the garbage." Winter growled.
I looked at the teen who backed off and I smiled realizing at what point Winter Rayder could be scary. Yes she was blind but her other senses where better than all of us. She could recognize us just by how we walked and breathed and I never understood how she did it but I knew her ears were one of her best friends.
I sighed looking at Carter who was just looking around him as if he wanted to memorize all the details of this room.
"What now?" Carlos asked rubbing his eyes.
"We stick to the plan." Richard sighed.
"The plan?" Adam asked confused.
"Well Mr. Carter, you will tell us all you know about the Wild Shadows."
"Uh...no, I won't ever tell you and I don't want anything to do with them so please remove this cuffs so I can get out and continue my life."
"It wasn't a question." Richard smirked replacing his glasses on his face. "You will do as I say."
Oh yeah this was going to be good! Time to take out my popcorn for this event.
