Personality: Quiet, lazy, stoic most of the time, don't mess with her food, plays video games most of her free time, doesn't talk much far less to those she doesn't know, listens to music when alone, even though she's lazy she still gives her best on every game, supports her friends unconditionally, tries to avoid people as much as possible or more like physical contact with them which is why she doesn't like Kise or Momoi as much as the others and prefers volleyball over basketball seeing as Volleyball is a less physical game. Even though she gets along mostly with her volleyball teammates she would usually ditch them and go with Atsushi after games.
Prologue
Third Person POV
"Atsu, you'll be late for practice." Ayame says while having her eyes glued to the game in her hand while having a lollipop in her mouth.
"You have practice too Ame-chin." He says back while munching on a snack she handed him from her bag like usual.
"It's not like I care much for it, it's not like I'll be playing it after middle school." She says pressing buttons on her game until her team captain saw her.
"There you are! Do I have to drag you to practice every time?! Let's go!" Her captain says dragging her by her hand making her lose her game as she sighs and threw her best friend a bag of chips.
"Thanks." He calls in his lazy voice before opening the bag and eating the chips while walking to the basketball court where his teammates were in the locker rooms changing.
Ayame on the other hand was dragged to the volleyball court by her captain yelling at her for forgetting they had a practice game today. As she made it to the locker room her captain told her to go change and she did as ordered placing her game in her bag still having the lollipop in her mouth as she changed and walked inside the court.
"Look at her, she doesn't seem like much." One of the girls from the other team said as they saw Ayame walk in with the lollipop in her hand before sucking it again.
"Is she an extra?" Her friend asked.
"About time, hurry up and warm up." Her coach said to Ayame who just nodded getting herself warmed up for the practice game before going to their coach, wanting nothing more than to go play her video game while having Atsushi feed her sweets until she beats the level, but instead she has to be here.
"Remember even if this is a practice game, losing is not an option." Their coach says as all the girls cheered in agreement just before the game started. The captains met up telling them that they'd be serving. With that the game started after bowing and wishing each other a good game.
The game ended with Teiko winning in no time. The girl the other team had seen as a 'sub' had won the game by making the right choices and reading each of their moves countering them in no time. So when the game ended Ayame excused herself getting a bath and changing her cloth back to her uniform before pulling her game out of her bag again with headphones putting them on blasting music in them and walking out of the court toward the basketball ones with her bag on her shoulder while looking down playing her game.
Aomine on the other hand was about to walk out of the court with way too many people in it just to bump into someone. Ayame's PSP fell to the floor as her butt hits the ground making her groan in pain.
"Sorry." The two of them say at the same time before Aomine blushed and looked away accidentally seeing Ayame's underwear under her skirt. Aomine extended his arm to help her as she took it getting up before bending down and pick up her PSP a small smile on her lips as she noticed it was unaffected by the ground.
"Uh, are you ok?" Aomine asked her causing her to look at him.
"Hm." Was her answer making Aomine blink. What the hell is that suppose to mean? He thought as Murasakibara called for Ayame when walking towards them.
"Ame-chin, aren't you suppose to be in practice?" He says as he makes it to her.
"We only had a practice game." She said simply walking towards her best friend without much care of Aomine who had just gotten a glimpse of her underwear and pulled out some sweets from her bag and started munching on them feeding Murasakibara some of it. Their practice was almost over as well.
"What's going on here?" The great Akashi Seijuro asked as he walked towards them with Kuroko not far from him right next to Midorima who didn't notice him of course.
"Hm, sorry if I interrupted practice." Ayame says to Akashi before looking at Kuroko tilting her head. He seemed a bit like her, trying her best to stay under the radar, unreadable expressions.
"Why are you here?" Akashi asked the girl who just shrugged her shoulders.
"Just waiting for Atsu." She says simply going back to her game making Akashi blink did she just brush him off?
"Anyway I'll wait for you at the school entrance, I'm running low on sweets." She says to Murasakibara before turning away from them and walking away leaving all of them except for Murasakibara confused as he simply nodded and went straight for practice again.
"Who was that?" Kuroko asked making all of them jump and look at him.
"When the hell did you get here?!" Aomine asked/yelled. Soon they all went back to practice and got changed before walking out together just to find Ayame sitting at the school entrance playing her game.
"Was she here this whole time?" Midorima asks placing his glasses back in their place.
"Who's she?" Momoi asked from beside Kuroko.
"Oh you're all here." She said noticing the new face quickly as Muradakibara placed his giant hand on her head. Now standing in front of her everyone could see the huge difference in size. Murasakibara was a solid 6 feet tall and she was barely a 5'2.
"Let's go, I'll buy you ice cream." He says making her eyes shine as she nodded before going back to her game.
"Uh, I'm Satsuki Momoi." Momoi was the first to even think of introducing herself to the new girl as everyone deciding to follow just as curious of the girl as the others. Ayame only but glanced at Momoi and nod.
"I'm Tetsuya Kuroko." Kuroko followed Momoi as did the others making Ayame sigh as she lost her game from all the talking and pulled out her last bag of chips opening them.
"Ayame Kozume." She says simply as she started to munch on her chips handing some to her childhood friend who happily started eating with her.
