Chapter 10: NEW START WITH A BIG SCAR

(Recap from last chapter- Everyone agreed with the plan of attending Mia's wedding & visiting Ana's house no matter what. They stopped in the mall for some shopping. Sid saw someone familiar in that mall & started following her. Lee & Susan too walked with Sid. They stopped right behind that person. They were amazed to see her, she was none other than Ana. Yes, she was Ana. Susan called her & when she turned hugged her tightly.)

"What are you doing?", said Ana pushing Susan away.

Ana: 'Who are you all? How do you know my name?'

Ana's dad & mom came from shop & stopped Sid, Lee & Su from saying anything. "Dad, who are they? Do you know them?", said Ana. "Beta you go with mom for a while, I will talk with them", Ana's dad told her.

Ana: 'But do you know them?'

Mom: 'Ana come we will go. your dad will speak with them'

Ana's mom took her out. Everyone were shocked & had lots of question in their minds. Dad took them in nearby coffee shop. Lee called Om, Krish & Meera too.

Om: 'Why did you lie to us uncle?'

Lee: 'Why did Ana behaved with us strangely'.

Dad: 'Yes, I lied to you all. I did not want you all to hurt Ana again. You know that day how she was weeping on the phone, telling that you all didn't believe her. She once had an accident from which it took 2 months for her to recover. This time the condition was same & I didn't want you guys to come in her life again. So, I told you all that she was dead, so that you would go away from her'.

Sid: 'Uncle why is she not recognizing us? What happened to her?'

Dad: 'After 7 to 8 days Ana came out from comma. Her first question was Where is Trisha? Is she ok? Doctors told us that Ana was diagnosed with "retrograde amnesia" & she remembered only the events before her first accident year ago. Doctors told us that her condition is critical this time & not to give any strain on her brain. Ruhan even knew about it. I thought it is best for both of us. Please don't try to come in her life again. I beg you all to forget what happened'. Ana's dad left.

"She is alive & can't remember us", said Susan with tears rolling down her eyes.

Sid: 'She can't even remember the great time we spent with her. But I am happy that she is fine'.

Om: 'I want to see her let's go guys'.

Krish: 'No stop, not today. We will go tomorrow after attending the wedding. Phir agar hume jail bhi jana pade to chalega, lekin use milke rahenge'.

Susan: 'Guys can't you see. This is our punishment she can't remember us. Udhar jaake hum kya bolenge. That we had once hurt you & didn't believe in you'.

Meera: 'We will face the consequences, but we have to meet her'.

Sid: 'I can't see her looking at me as a stranger. Sorry but I can't come. I will get going. I can't stay here now'.

Lee: 'Then when are you going to meet her?'

Sid: 'I don't know'.

"You guys came. It's so nice to see you all. Leenesh, teri Mom andar tumhara intejar kar rahi hai. Go meet her", said Mia's mom i.e Lee's aunt to him. Everyone had decided that as soon as the marriage will get over, they were going to visit Ana. They had not planned anything, what they were going to say? What they were going to explain? They just wanted to meet Ana.
