The Forgotten Ones

Chapter 10 Part 2

Sapph POV

Six. Thats the number of hours i have been in labor. Two. Thats how far dialated i am. Ten. Thats the score i give the pain from a scale of one to ten.

Please i swearif i am in so much pain right now then i can only guess that when i have to accualy push the little suckers out-pun intended-that i will be in even worse pain.

"Damien?" i whispered.

"What?" he gasped in pain at the death grip that i had on his hand.

"I AM going to KILL you when this is over! It your fault i got knocked up and have to go through this pain. Im going to die." i hissed through a contraction.

"Im not going to die and neither are you." he managed to chuckle.

"Then please, please make it go away. Please it hurts." i sobbed.

"Im sorry but i cant do that this time. This is one of the moments that i cant be your prince in shining armour."

"Cliche much." i laughed only to be stopped when my stomach clenched.

"Sapph you really need to get some sleep."

Damien POV

I had finally gotten sapphire to get to sleep a good two hours ago. Chloe and our Uncle were sitting on the couch waiting for her to wake up.

Chole said that it was better that she was sleep. Something about the calmer she was the quicker that she would have to deliver. We did hear her whimper ever now and then though.

Ijust feel so helpless you know. I mean i really want her to not feel any pain but theres nothing that i could do about it. Its not even possiple for me to stop her pain.

I snapped out of my thoughts when i felt sapph stiffen. Her hand clenched around mine, her breathing became labored, and her pulse began to quicken. Chloe rushed over after seeing me staart to panic.

"Damien we need to get her onto her back so i can check how far dialated she is." she said oh-so calmly while me and my uncle looked freaked. Doctors.

i did as she told me looking at sapphs face as she did god knows what down there.

"Shes eight centimeters. thats far enough. She should be waking up any time now."

Not even five minutes later Sapphs eyes flashed open as she screamed bloody murder.
