Cassiopeia hadn't been feeling very well since the Thestral incident, she thought maybe all the motion sickness and or maybe all the stress of the order was getting to her.
"Hey, do you have a minute?" Cassiopeia asked Tonks as she arrived at her apartment.
"Sure, what's up little elf?" Dora asked, getting some chocolate from the cupboard.
"So uh, I don't know how to tell you this, but—" Cassiopeia showed Nymphadora the blue strand of hair that had sprouted that morning.
"Cool hair choice." Dora smirked, shifting her hair to match, "We could be twins!"
"I didn't change the color myself, I woke up and it was like this, should I be worried? Do you think I still have the blood quill poisoning?" She asked worriedly seeing as though she never died her hair and the last time it changed color was when she and Umbridge were in close quarters.
"Nothing's happen for the last two years, why would anything happen now?" Dora paused for a moment, "You and Fred have been using protection... right?" Cassiopeia's face automatically became a shade that almost matched Fred's hair.
"What? You two haven't done it?"
"No, we have, and he's really— right sorry, No we have but, you don't think I could become pregnant, right? Because me and Fred hadn't even talked about that, and I mean I still get my period." Cassie told her, freaking herself out again just by the thought of being a young mother in the middle of a war, and then she instantly felt guilty as she knew that her sister was going through exactly that, but Tonks was a badass, an amazing Auror who recently got promoted after Mad-eye's sudden departure.
"Have you thrown up?" Dora asked and Cassiopeia shook her her head until she remembered, the Thestral.
"Yeah, but it could be limited to motion sickness. I never fly so it's not surprising, right? Fred didn't think anything about it because he was the one who tied my hair up."
"Maybe there's still a little bit of the blood quill deciding what it wants to be, you know? Or maybe we're overreacting, it could just be a mucky cold that's about to show up and these are just some symptoms." Cassie nodded slightly, with the voice at the back of her head that's telling her It's not a cold, that maybe, she might be pregnant.
"Okay? So let's relax and come cuddle me because I'm cold and Baby Lupin is freaking out because he can probably smell the chocolate he's been craving."
"He?" Cassiopeia asked, "You know the gender?"
"No, not yet but Remus and I both think it's a boy. He's been very nervous around me, sometimes he won't even look at me..." she sighed, "I sometimes feel like he doesn't even want this baby, that he might not want me anymore.." Nymphadora whispered the last part before she broke down crying into Cassie's arms.
"Oh! Oh, it's okay, Remus is head over heels for you, you know that right? It's coming towards the end of the month so maybe he's just stressing out," Cassie told her but that didn't seem to smooth Nymphadora.
"What if he doesn't want me anymore? What if I am too young, too stupid for him?" Cassiopeia laughed now, "The only stupid person here would be anyone who actually believes that. You are Nymphadora fucking Tonks. You are a first class Auror, taught by Mad-eye Moody himself, went through the most badass training you could've asked for, are one of the youngest order members with some actual real responsibilities, you are the proudest thing Hufflepuff has to date! Sure, Cedric was a hero, but you are living a Hero's life. Remus would be a right git if he didn't see that, and besides, little Tonks would know how much of a badass his mother is if he doesn't know already."
"You really think that?" Nymphadora asked, as she tried to clean up her running away mascara.
"Don't tell Fred this, but I think you're the coolest person I know." There was a pause in the room, "and Besides, Rasmus knows I'll kick his ass on Sirius' behalf if he ever hurt you." This made Nymphadora chuckle slightly.
"I missed having you around," Nymphadora spoke, "Yeah, I missed being here too."
Both Cassie and Nymphadora had gotten ready as they headed to the Burrow for Harry's celebration and Bill and Fleur's wedding, she had packed an extra dress incase she changed her mind.
"What did you get Harry for his birthday?" She asked with a small smile trying to change the subject.
"I found one of Sirius' scarves, I was going to give it to Harry at the funeral but I didn't think it was the right timing, I want it to be a happy, present, you know? Fred and George got him "exclusives" from their shop." Cassiopeia laughed, she still didn't know how they got the money, that will always be a mystery to her.
"Ready Dora? We've got a wedding to attend to." Cassie grabbed her sisters hand as they apperated from Tonks' apartment.
