Meet The Team ! *Chapter 1*

**************Maria's pov****************

"Boys! What're you doing?" I smiled at the boys. "Maria come on! This is fun!" Malik yelled. "Guys, we have new people who you have to meet! Get over here!" I laughed. "Ugh your no fun Maria." Cameron yelled to me, smiling. They all came running over to me and a few new players were. "What up kids. I'm Jake. That's Cameron and this is Malik," "What up." Malik laughed. "Alright, boys Malik is the defensive captain so if you wanna be on defense go to me or Malik. Cameron is the offensive captain so if you wanna be on offense talk to me or him. I'm Maria, the team captain." I smiled at the young boys. "B-but your a girl!" 1 freshman yelled. "Yes I am a girl but I can still kick your but, now go." I laughed, and they all ran off. Jake, our boy who helps out a lot followed but Malik and Cameron stayed with me. "You don't want anyone else on the team do you?" Cameron asked me. I sighed and turned my head so I was looking at him, "Not at all. But Coach said so." I frowned. "But they have a freshman team why do we have to take them? Some aren't even that good." Malik laughed and sat down on the bench. I sat down next to him, Cameron sat on the ground in front of us. "I think we should be allowed to say who's on the team and who's not. Coach is to nice so we always get the sucky players." Cameron huffed. "Stop Cam. We're the best team, we will be fine. Besides the boys we came today are the last one's I'm taking. I can't change Coach's mind." I sighed, before pulling out my phone. "Who you calling?" Malik asked. "Nicole, she has my car." I laughed before dialing her number. "Hello? Boo im almost there." Nicole laughed into the phone. I rolled my eyes, "Okay. I'm at the fields." I smiled before hanging up. "We've got an hour." I smiled. "What're you do-" Malik started but i got up and ran off before he could finish. I got to the box that starts the sprinklers. I turned them all on and all the players, except for Malik and Cameron ran. I smiled and spun in circles in the falling water. "Maria, what're you doing?!" Cameron yelled while laughing.  "Living my life! Care to join mee?" I yell back smiling. They both laughed and ran towards me. Malik picked me up and spun me around. "Ahh! Malik" I screamed while laughing. "Well what do we have here. " I heard my wonderful best friend and step-sister's voice. "NICOLE!" Cameron yelled before running up to her and picking her up and spinning her around. Malik set me down but he kept his arms around me. "He sooo likes her." I giggled while watching Cameron and Nicole. "Do you think she likes him back?" Malik looked down at me. "Most likely. They remind me of me and E-" "Girl if you say his name your dead." Malik pulled back away but kept his arms around me. "Look, I'm sorry.. It's just" I started but Malik interrupted, "But nothing. He broke your heart and me and Cameron both committed to never letting you date him again." Malik sighed. I looked over at Nicole and Cameron and saw something I knew was gonna happen. "Uh Malik-" "No Maria.-" He started but I smiled. "Malik! Cameron and Nicole." I pointed in their direction. Malik's mouth dropped. My sister and my best friend were kissing. It was a miracle. "WOO GO CAMERON!" Malik screamed while laughing. Neither of them pulled away, Cameron just stuck his middle finger up at Malik. "THANKS CAM. WE CAN DO THAT TO!" Malik yelled back and I stuck my tongue out. "That didn't take long." I laugh. "I knew if I turned the water on something would happen." I giggle and Malik smiled. I felt butterflies for some odd reason. 'Do I like Malik?' Was the first thing I thought to myself when I felt those butterflies.
