Maria Lewis is the only child of Owen's Army buddy Dan who died in Fuji when she was 9 years old, her mother died when she was 2 years old, and her Grandma died last month and that is when Owen and Christina gave her the job, she is 17 years old. On top of getting $150.00 an hour Owen and Cristina are paying for her to go to College but she can't go until Reagan truns 5 years old. So when she goes to callage she will be 22 years old, and now some of what she needs to. She wants to be a pediatric surgeon. To be a pediatric surgeon you need to know how to take care of and talk to children, and when she goes to college she will already know that plus Alex and Arizona agreed to teach her some of the stuff they do as Pediatric Surgeons, so she will know that too.
