They had all told themselves the truth. But they must keep the secret hidden, and never told to anyone, or else it would destroy every relationship they each had with one another.
Something deep within Edd told him that his new secret identity would ruin his relationship with Tom and the others.
But that didn't matter. Tom was the villain, Edd was the hero. And that horrible truth baffled him.Tom usually never does anything wrong, so how could that be?
Edd went down to his knees and began to cry. But then, at that very moment, he had an idea. Maybe even two, in fact. What if I illustrate a letter for Tom and get tord to make a pill for him.
Edd was very indecisive about this new plan but he went for it. Edd was good at drawing, but he also wanted to write something to Tom, explaining his most sincere feelings towards him.
In the letter, it discussed how their secret powers would get in the way of their relationship. Edd sighed. He really wanted to keep it going, but edds destiny couldn't allow him siding with monster, even if that was his very best friend in the whole world.
I'm sorry.
((Switches to Tom's pov /Cha Cha real smooth-/))
I was still shaking with sorrow after had read the letter Edd sent to me. Why?! After all we've been through, why did he have to do this!?... I tried stopping the tears from falling down his face, but to my attempt, it's like I'd never tried in the first place. I'd just let those tears fall. I'm weak....
My sadness then turned into anger. How dare he abandon me?! I'm not a horrible monster, but I will be if that's what he wants. I let myself transition to the monster form, and I ran.
