"What the hell happened to her!"

"I don't know I just found her lying there unconscious!"

"Where is Ruby! We need her here!"

Violet awoke in a small tent to loud laughter from outside. Confused she tried to sit up but failed when she felt a sharp pain shoot through her back. Her head had a moist rag that was keeping her cool since her temperature seems to have shot up.

Violet decided to stay put and rest some more but before she got the chance to close her eyes, Louis had entered.

"Louis" Violet said trying to sit up once again "What going on?"

Louis's face immediately lit up and he crouched down to pull the blonde in for a hug "You're awake Vi!" he practically screamed.

Wincing, Violet returned the hug and laid back down again.

"What happened?" she asked

"You want the long story or the short story" Louis replied with a grin that grew bigger when violet gave him an eye roll.

"The short version please" Violet replied

"Well basically after I stopped the wagon, Aasim and Mitch came over to help out the people but then Minerva kicked you off of the wagon and you fell backward on some rocks and tumbled down a small slope full of jagged rocks."

"Is that why my back hurts like hell?"

"Most likely and considering you were unconscious when I found you, then you also must've hit your head hard on a rock when you fell."

Violet sighed and lightly shook her head but then remembered about Minerva.

"So what happened to Minerva?"

"We have not a clue on where she is" Responded Louis

"What about the people? Did they make it out safely?"

"Indeed they have." Louis replied before getting excited "Oh! And guess what!"

Violet noticed how happy Louis seemed at whatever he was about to tell her but she went along hoping it was worth hearing.

"What?"

Louis got closer to Violet and whispered in her ear.

"There was a very pretty girl who was also fighting with us"

Violet rolled her eyes again and chuckled. "Is that it? You're fancying another person?"

Louis shook his head and once again whispered in Violet's ear.

"She's a Royal"

Now that was something that Violet was not expecting. Violets eye widened and she stared at her friend for a bit to try to decipher whether he was joking or telling the truth.

After not being able to find any reaction that would sell Louis's words as a joke, she swore under her breath in disbelief.

"But why would the Raiders go after a Royal? It makes no sense! The Raiders only and ONLY fight kingdoms off to spread fear and take citizens but never had they EVER attempted to steal a Royal!"

Louis smiled, he knew that Violet loved to read and learn more about the outside world because of her past conflicts and according to her it seemed like her knowledge had failed her.

"We don't exactly know why but what I do know is that she's very pretty" Louis stated

Violet scoffed and sat up ignoring the pain shooting through her back. "Of course she's pretty she's a Royal you said, Royal is fancy rich and most think that they are better than all"

Louis chuckled knowing that Violet would say that. Pushing her back down, Louis convinced Violet to stay and rest while he informed Ruby on Violet waking up.

Clementine sat down near a fire and watched as her people were being handed food and clean water while others that were injured were put into small tents to rest and heal.

She felt strange and aware that some of her 'saviors' were staring at her from all around the camp.

"Who's that?"

"She's a Royal"

"How are you certain?"

"Look at her garments! Regular people don't wear that kind of fabric it's rare material imported from afar!"

Clementine knew that the leader of this group would eventually speak to her. As long as her people were safe and welcomed kindly she didn't mind what the others were saying.

"Greetings" a voice spoke from behind Clementine making her spin around. The person stood tall was blonde and had a very strange hair cut that she had never seen before.

"Hello" she replied

"The names Marlon and uh I'm the leader of my group" the blonde introduced himself while sitting down beside her.

"I'm Clementine" the brunette responded

"I uh heard yer a Royal?"

"Tis true. If you don't mind me asking but what is the name of your group? Your people seem a bit like bandits but act like nobles"

Marlon gave out a loud laughed that practically worried Clementine.

"Hah! Bandits... No no, we're outlaws we were banned from our original community from the far west. After we left we haven't heard much about it but we are certain that it's been destroyed"

"Again, the name?"

"Ah yes uh, we're called The Troubled Ones based on our history. At times we cause terrors to places when we're desperate for supplies but we do well at our base deep in the woods."

Clementine racked her head to try to remember if she had ever heard of that name but nothing seemed to bring a bell.

Marlon studied Clementine for a bit before speaking up once again.

"You're a Royal right?"

Clementine sighed knowing the topic would be brought up.

"Yes, I am the daughter of King Lee" she stated rather loudly, annoyed at all the gasps that rang around the camp.

Marlon's eyes widened and he immediately kneeled down in front of clementine. All the other kids following his actions just as Louis walked out of Violet's camp with the blonde holding onto him for support.

Louis immediately taking note of what was going on and he too got down on his knees near Clementine who looked bewildered. Violet on the other hand just stood there staring at Clementine. Refusing to bow down to her.

Clementine's eyes scanned around in shock at what these people were doing until her eye's met Violets.

They stared at each other for a moment before Violet tore her eyes away to look around at what her friends were all doing.

Clementine had forgotten that there were people bowing to her so she quickly commanded them up and everything went back to normal.

Marlon nodded at Clementine and left to go discuss plans with some of his group while Clementine looked around once again only to find that the rebel blonde was gone.

Sighing, Clementine walked back to sit by the fire, hoping that she would be able to see the blonde, once again.
