A/N: Holy shit this chapter was a nightmare. Sorry in advance, it's a long rollercoaster.

"How long will this take?" Brad asked as Mike was getting ready to pick up another delivery.

"I really have no idea. You know I can't act instantly. He might not trust me, but if I act now he will guess before I even manage to..."

"You have no fucking clue what you are doing", the other rolled his eyes.

"I do. But there are so many variables. So, I have to take them all into consideration and think what might happen if something fails", Mike explained checking the mirror that he looked decent enough.

"As in, you getting killed."

"Do you have to remind me every time of that?" the other frowned.

"I do. So you remember that. You are in constant danger and even though it seems easy, it's not", Brad said.

"And even though it seems to you that it's easy for me, it doesn't mean it really is. I might not seem scared, but I do remember that I can get killed. But I also need to keep it inside. I can't show them that I am reluctant. Go, do the job, and get back. It's straightforward, but not easy", Mike noted.

"Okay. I'm just worried. And remember what Chester said? That the longer you are there, the more familiar it all gets and the harder it is to leave it behind."

"I get his point, but we aren't exactly similar. I do have the plan in my mind all the time. Of course, I am also interested in how it all works, but more terrified to feel comfortable enough to stay."

Brad nodded. The last two weeks had been easy, and despite that Mike was usually grumpy when he came back they all dealt with it way better than none of them had expected. The other thing was the payment. Mike was now actually able to save some money on top of paying all the necessities.

"I'll pick up Ches and come back here then."

It had come some kind of a tradition for them. The two always waited for him when he came back, surprising him with some takeaway food.

"Just don't fuck on my bed. Please", Mike raised his eyebrow.

"Yeah yeah yeah..." Brad snorted smiling causing the other to let out a sigh.

"Okay, so I am going. See you later."

The ride to Kaden's had become so familiar to him that he thought he could do it eyes closed. And as he got there, he didn't even bother to look around. Part of him missed Rob, but he guessed the other would just start and argue and he didn't have time for it now. Instead, he walked straight up finding Joel.

"Ah, that day again", the other said gesturing him to follow.

Mike sighed as they reached the room. Maybe it was getting too familiar to him when all those piles of cocaine didn't affect him like it used to.

"Same thing as before. But a few packets more", Joel mumbled, more to himself and did the same things as before- check the notepad, write something there and then grab the backpack and put the packets there.

"Awesome", Mike rolled his eyes.

"How are you doing?" Joel as he handed the backpack to Mike.
