A/N: It's been long... And here I come dropping a long chapter with lots of drama. Yes it's confusing, but no it's not yet the end. Also, sorry for the ending. I just realised how sad it is.

Mike glanced at Brad who was sitting on his couch and staring out from the window.

"I hope you don't blame me."

The other huffed. "No I don't. Why would I? I don't... well, if we wouldn't have started to go there, he might as well be dead."

"Yeah, but that was just Brandon's mistake."

"You know what I mean. He has said it many times how much he appreciates that we helped him", Brad nodded.

Chester had been missing for two whole weeks. Mike was contemplating calling the cops, but Brad had tried to get him to forget it. Just because he would get in trouble then. Probably Chester too. They were both worried, but same time they also knew Chester's habits and that maybe he just needed some time alone.

"You sure you don't want to come?" Mike asked for the tenth time.

"Yes. He might be back while we are there and even if he is okay I... don't want to miss that."

"Okay. Well, I'll be back later."

"I hope so", Brad said, only partially joking.

Again time for the party. Mike didn't really know what to think. He felt like he needed a relaxing, but how could he when Kaden and Rob were probably both there? But he had decided he would stay for a few beers and then drop the delivery and come back then.

"He is fine. I am sure of it", Mike said as Brad fell back into his thoughts.

"Yeah. I just want him to come back home."

"Dude..." Mike snickered and shook his head.

"What?"

"You said home."

"I did... I feel like it is home for him."

"Yeah. I bet he feels the same way. He'll be back", Mike nodded.

And with that he left to Kaden's. It was already late, all the city lights shining bright in the darkness. As he arrived he left the bike to the same spot as always, unlocked, leaning to the wall of the house.

The house was buzzing and it brought some memories back instantly. The last few times he had been there it had been awfully quiet and even though the people and the noise weren't really his thing, in that particular house he was way more comfortable with people around him.

He glanced quickly around in the living room nodding at the few people he recognized and walked straight to he kitchen to get a beer. After he tossed the cap on the table he let out a sigh and took a gulp. Even if he ignored Rob and where they were left the last time and that Chester was missing it all was so much. He didn't even dare to think would his life settle to normal, to what it used to be, in future, as he couldn't even see how this all would end. And the problem was still that he didn't know should he take Cody's offer, or just follow his initial plan. Either way, he might fuck it all up. Shrugging he took another gulp and walked to the living room.

He was surprised to bump in to Joe, who greeted him with a smile.

"Haven't seen you here in a while!"
