Chapter 02.

I really hope we don't have to change our school again. And I hope you don't go crushing on some random guy who doesn't even know you exist or not ". Claire said as her both hands were on the steering wheel and eyes focused on the road.

Claire is usually a careful driver and never removes her eyes from the road unless the need arises. " Yea, I hope so." I said, sighing in the process.

The reason why I had to leave my former school was due to an everlasting crush I had on a guy. I really loved him to the extent that I couldn't eat or do anything if I didn't see him for a day. As for the weekends they were as horrible as hell, because that meant not seeing him for another two days.

It affected my studies a great deal and I was asked to invite my parents. Well since I only have my mum , she was invited and was told how horribly I performed in the last test.

I had to tell her everything that happened. And she was really mad at me. I can remember her words clearly that day "Jane, I'm so disappointed in you. I can't believe that your recent changes are because of a boy who doesn't care if you exist or not" She said that day shouting at the top of her voice.

My first black out came from the next words she uttered.

"Jane, you gonna have to change your school" she said sadly.

That was it , It felt like I was shot with a gun .My head began to spin and boom....I fell'. The holidays were like living in hell, I did all I could to forget about my crush but it was really a tough thing to do.

I told Claire about everything and she decided to follow me to my new school. Yes, that why I love her so much. I'm hoping to start afresh and shun any boy that comes my way . I had to promise my mum that night that I would not have anything to do with any guy. And I am gonna live up to that promise.

"Hey girl....Wassup, you look lost. Are you day dreaming again"? Claire asked. "We are at the school, seems like you don't even know" .

"Wow, that was fast" I smiled. I opened the car door and getting down adjusting my partially squeezed gown.

Claire came to my side and put an arm around me. "Don't worry babe_ you will do just fine". She said. I really loved Claire, and I couldn't have asked for more.

" Thanks honey " I said hugging her.
"Okay, It seems like we are already late " Claire snapped. Let hurry , don't wanna annoy the teachers first day at school. Claire locked her car and we both entered our new school . I am sure she was just as anxious as I was . But she didn't want to show it for my sake.

Claire and I offer totally different courses. I am into science while she is into arts. That means we are practically not gonna see each other again until lunch.

"I love you Claire, and thanks for the ride. I think it a bye for now." I said hugging her.
"You welcome love and be sure to call me if you have any problem" she said grinning.

Claire went her way and I was left alone in the hallway which meant the next thing to do was to find my class .I had biology and I didn't want to miss that for the world.

Luckily for me I found my class and hurriedly entered. I hoped to enter without anyone noticing me but my hope was short lived when the teacher lifted her gaze to me.

"Hey there, you are a new comer I suppose" the teacher said looking so serious. By this time all eyes were on me.

"Yes Ma, Am Jane Johnson a transfer student" I said shyly . "Ohhhh!! , I see , well you are welcome. but that doesn't give you the right to come late to my class" .

"Am so sorry ma" I said quickly bowing my head slightly to avoid eye contact with the teacher.
"Well it OK, I permit you because it your first time. You can sit".

Oh my God, that was a bad way to start a first day at school. Before I could bring out my books a blonde boy sitting beside me stretched his hand to me. Gosh, not a boy. I didn't know I was sitting right next to a boy .

"Hey, I'm Jason. Nice meeting you and you are"? .he said whispering. I didn't want to be rude on my first day so I had to shake him" I am Jane....Jane Johnson " I replied .

".....this class is dismissed, make sure you turn in your assignments early tomorrow" the teacher said leaving the class. What the hell, I must have really gotten to school late . People started leaving the class one by one for the second period.

It was the fifth period , the period before lunch and I had not even seen Claire. The last four periods were awesome and I got to my classes early. Thankfully, I did not see Jason again. My mum would literally roast me if she knew I had a boy as my first friend.

My phone beeped, It was a text message from Claire.

Claire: Hey babe, how is your day going.

Me: It going good, how about yours

Claire: Great babe

Me: See ya later

Claire:OK...I'll see you later

English was the next subject I had. I was already getting hungry and couldn't wait for lunch to come . I tried to look for my class and at last I saw it .

"OH MY DAYS" I Shouted causing everyone to turn to my direction. I didn't care if anyone looked at me . Could my eyes be deceiving me or was I daydreaming again.

If what I saw was real then I was in for a big trouble. "Hey miss, if you are not interested in attending my class then you could go somewhere else" the English teacher shouted looking angry.

"Am sorry Sir.". Ohh no , second teacher that was shouting at me today. I hurriedly took my seat and brought out my books.

" Hello Jane..anything wrong"?.....I remembered that voice. Oh no , not the blonde again and why the hell did I end up sitting beside him again.

"Hey..hmmm Ja....son" I stuttered trying to remember his name . I saw the disappointment on his face but I don't care since I didn't intend on making friends with any boy.

The class was finally over. If I was asked what I gained from the class I wouldn't have anything to say because I was busy pondering over what I saw . "No it can't be...no, Gosh my mum would literally almost go crazy" I talked to myself as I found my way to the cafeteria.

I prayed a silent prayer hoping that what I saw was kind of a dream or something. By the time I finished my quick prayer I could see someone was blocking my way .

"You really amaze me girl, aren't you done stalking me" my blocker said whispering. "OH MY GOD....no this isn't happening to me. I could feel my head spinning ...Don't do it Jane , don't.....Not in front of him.......
And that was it , my second blackout.
