The house is already crowded and the music is so loud. Students are talking in groups holding drinks and taking selfies. While others are making out. If they wanted to do that they could have at least gone elsewhere.

"We are there" Jason says .

"Like I don't know we are there"......I replied opening the door .

He locked his car and came straight to me.
" You can at least drop your rude behavior" he said putting an arm round my waist.

"Remove that arm while am being nice" I said talking with one side of my mouth.

" Okay ". He removed his hand from my waist and  interlocked his hands with mine. " Let get going to the party" he smiled.

"I thought I said you should remove your hand  from my waist not hold my hand again" I said getting pissed.

He ignored me and we entered into the house. It was already full of students. Some dancing, making out, chatting and laughing noisily and so on.

"Jason"  came a voice from a boy who was already in front of us. "I thought you said you couldn't make it " he said lifting his gaze from Jason's face to our interlocked hands.

"I finally found a reason to come" he replied looking at me . The look he gave me just made the guy in front of us to stare at me the more rather awkwardly .

" ...hmmm, there's nothing between us" I quickly chipped in

They both smiled." I know babe, he has a girlfriend".

"What, so you have a girlfriend. Why didn't you tell me . " I said feeling slightly angry.

"Wow, you didn't tell me you had feelings for me" Jason replied smiling.

" What feelings....I DON'T " I said shouting...

With that I stumped off away from both of them.

"Jane take it easy, he was just joking" Jason shouted back .

I turned and looked back at both of them.

"Take it easy girl, I was joking. You should have told me you liked him" the boy said smiling.

" I DON'T " I replied storming off.

I was actually relieved to hear Jason didn't have a girlfriend . " Why the hell was I getting jealous " I said soliloquizing. "Am I starting to have feelings for him.   Ohhhh No, no, no..."

"There's a table in front of you so be careful" a girl said to me.

"Ohhhh!! thanks a lot .
 
She came forward to me and stretched her hand. " I'm Nickie, nice meeting you"

"Jane Johnson" I replied shaking her.

" Seems like you were talking to yourself and lost in thought anything the matter" Nickie asked worried.

"No , everything's good."... I replied. " Are you are a new student also "? I asked trying to
change the topic.

Nickie replied smiling.."...this is a new student's party ".

" Oh! yeah, how silly of me " I replied slapping myself playfully.

"Did you come with anyone", she asks

" Yeah, but I left him"

"Your boyfriend"? , Nickie asks winking at me

" No, just a friend "I reply.
