My heart starts beating and I turn around and there stands the vice principal. I breath out cause it could have been worse.
"Hi ms. Wilson, what are you doing at school at this time." I glance at the clock on the wall and realise that school ended an hour ago.
"I uh was doing my homework, you know there are so many distractions at home." I smile at her, trying to convince her of my lie.
"I understand, are you okay? Your eyes look red, have you been crying." She puts her hand reassuring on my shoulder.
"You know, math, math is hard and I can't seem to understand it." I put on my actor mask and I force some tears come out from my eyes.
"Oh no, honey don't cry. I know math is hard but you're gonna get it, I promise." She walks up to me and hugs me.
"I'm gonna go if that's okay." She looses her grip on me and I leave the school succesful. I'm Julia the liar queen.

Once I get home it's time for questions from my mom.
"Julia! Is that you? Where have you been, darling?" She's sitting infront of the TV.
"Yes mom, it's me. I were just with a friend."
"You got a friend? That's great honey. Food is in the fridge."
Mom was used to me being alone and never bringning anyone home but I could atleast lie so that she would get a little happy. I go to the fridge and grab some food then I walk up to my room. The white walls are cold but I've hung up some photos and pictures so I don't get so lonely. I lay on my bed and I check my phone. I almost spit out my milk when I see the notification. I rise up fast and get dizzy. When it's over I stare at my phone waiting for the notification to be fake and my eyes just betraying me. I read it over and over again.
"nicole335 added you on snapchat" I didn't know any other Nicole so it had to be her in class. I read the time and it was sent only minutes ago. I don't understand why she would add me after today. I accept her request and about five minutes later she texts me. I stand for about ten minutes trying to decide when I should open it. I open it and it's just a picture of a roof and it says hi. I exhale. I send a picture of my bed and say hi back. I press send but I realized there's more I want to say to her so I go into chat mode and type:
"I'm sorry for skipping lunch and leaving you. Hope we can get a new start and we can become friends. That little time I spent with you was amazing and if you forgive me I would love to spend more time with you." I hesitate a moment but it's better to get this over with. She opens at it almost immediately and I'm nervous for her answer.
"Of course I forgive you. It's my fault to be honest. I shouldn't have left whithout you. Facetime?" My heart stops beating, this girl I met today, that gives me a strange feeling wants to facetime. I send her my number without a doubt. She calls me on facetime and I pick up.
"Hi!" She smiles big and that warm feeling comes back.
"Hi! Sorry again"
"It's okay, don't be. But I wanted to tell you something."
"Go ahead."
"Is it true what they said about you?"
"Probably not, what did they say?"
"Theytold me about the stuff you did last year." She does this thing, twirling her hair and it makes me straight up smile at the camera.
"Wait, what's so funny?" She looks at me trough the phone.
"No, no, nothing, it's just I like that thing you do with your hair. By the way, the stuff they said is just a rumor" I hear her giggle and the feeling become stronger. "Sorry, you were talking."
"I was done, lunch tomorrow?"
"Yeah I would love that."
"See you tomorrow then, bye!"
"Bye, lov.... oh sorry I have it as a habit to say "love you" when I end phone calls."
"Hahaha don't worry about it, bye!" She hungs up and I smile bigger then before.
Yey she doesn't hate me.
