The names Daniella Hynes and Im 16 years old and Im the last remaining human being left alive.

All the rest of the humans as far as i know where wiped out or changed.

Into what you may ask?well into a mindless soulless evil demon or what we would call a Zombie.

Its been 10 years since the Event as those that were left would call it.

The event was the Zombie Apocalypse.

Some of the Elders that survived told us younglings of the days before the Event.

They told us that The Event was man made. That 'the government'

Apparently that was the leaders of the country was responsible.

I was too young to remember too much about the Event all i remember is my mothers face as she calmed me by singing softly terror and fear in her eyes.

I was only a baby when it happened but I survived.

My parents are dead now or as far as i know they are i haven't seen them.

Anyway i live in an old bunker.i go hunting for food and water if i can.

I try my best to survive.

I explore most of the small village i live in but you have to be careful the 'Zombies'are hidden in dark places they don't really like the sun but if you stay too long in the one place they will take a chance and get you.

Unless your a Zombie Slayer.

Zombie Slayers are rare and unseen

I haven't seen one ever.

Everyone now a days carries a gun or knives or both.

I carry both.

Everyday i walk the small area of the village.i stick to the areas i know since if i veer off the track i could get eaten or changed. Ifyou walk the track you can hear them groaning clawing munching chewing.

It sends shivers down your spine.
