Kayano POV
A day later
I was going to visit nagisa today but he wasn't in his room
I asked the nurse where he was but they didn't know either
I'm beggining to worry
Where could he be?
I tried to think of someplace he might go
The grave yard
So I went to the grave yard ,
I was half way there went it started raining luckily I have my umbrella with me
When I finally got in the cemetary
I saw nagisa... soaked wet
"Nagisa! You'll catch a cold if yo-"
I stopped at mid-sentence when I saw him crying
"Kayano..." he called out "Why do the best people have to die?" He asked like a child
It broke my heart, seeing him cry i mean
"Well...In a garden full of flowers...What kind of flowers do you pick?" I asked hoping he would understand that life is not forever
Because it isn't fair
"...the best of the best..." he answered and sobbed
He hugged me, face buried on my neck and cried onto my shoulders I hugged him back
"Let's go back? Or do you want to stay a little longer?" I asked
"..."
"Nagisa?" I called out
When he didn't reply I noticed he was already sleeping
So I put him on my back and started running to the hospital
He was light so it wasn't a big deal
When we came back into the hospital, nagisa said something that I never expected

"Promise what?"
"I promise that I will never leave you"
"Good" Nagisa said and hugged me to sleep
