I was running, although I wasn't entirely certian what I was running from. All I knew, was that I had to escape, escape what ever was chasing me. I was sure if I let it catch me, it'd kill me and at the moment I love life. Ask me a couple of hours, and my opinion may change.

I stumbled over the overgrown roots that stuck out the ground. The cold wind and leaves slapped me in the face, making my skin violently sting. My breathing came out in short breaths as I sprinted, trying to find an opening in the woods. I needed to get into town. I needed to get help. My legs and lungs burned from physical exhuastion, I wanted to give up but I also wanted to live.

I gasped out, tripping over a fallen tree. Well, there goes my life.

I wanted to get up, but my body was too exhausted. I heard laughter and the cruncing leaves as someone walked closer to me. I closed my eyes tight and tried to calm my breathing. My right side had that awful cramp and my head pounded. My chest hurt, and my throat hurt everytime I breathed.

I cried out in pain when someone's foot came crashing down on my legs, there was a sickening snap and the laughter began again. I was yanked up to my feet, pain shot up my legs as I applied pressure onto it while trying to stand up.

I kept my eyes closed, I hadn't dared to open them. I didn't want to see what was in front of me. I wanted to be back home with my mum, I wanted to be back home with my brother Ashley. I wanted my brother Ashley to come and save me, save me from the trouble I always seemed to find myself in.

"You stupid humans," A man spat, "so pathetic!" I was thrown on the ground, my head collided with something hard, and my eyes flew open. I grasped the back of my head as it began to pound more now. My vision was blury. I closed my eyes again when I saw a dark figure.

My heart rammed at my ribcage, my head throbbed and my leg was numb. I wanted this to be a nightmare. I wanted to be back in my bed, but instead I had to make that stupid mistake of sneaking out with a party. It was a great party, I was on my way home piss face drunk. I quickly sobered up when I got the sense of being followed. It was a bad feeling, a feeling I didn't like.

I lived on the other side of the woods. I was going to go around them, until I sped up my walking and then I decided to run into the woods like an idiot. I ran in the wrong direction, if I ran in the right direction I would have been home and safe right now. But no, that's just not what fate wanted now was it?

"Open your eyes!" The man spat. I kept them closed, and shook my head. A hand wrapped around my throat and I was lifted off the ground, my feet weren't touch the ground. He shook me and I herd a growl. "Open your eyes, and I might just let you live. You are beautiful after all." Something cold and wet slid across my neck. I shivered and gripped the hand around my neck.

I was thrown, and my back hit what seemed like a tree. I heard another crack, about three this time, and more pain filled my left side. I fell to the floor with a groan of pain escaping my lips. It hurt to breathe, I wanted this to stop.

"If you would have opened your eyes, this wouldnt've happened," The man whispered in my ear. "Open your eyes before I kill you!" I kept them closed and tried not to breathe as hard as I was. My whole body was going numb from the pain. I felt a wave of dizziness ripple through me. "Have it your way."

I was lifted up again, my eyes were still closed, and I was braced against a tree. The worst pain shot up my neck and shoulder. It hurt more than when my leg broke. I screamed in agony and a hand covered my mouth. I felt myself drifting even though my eyes were closed.

"Leave her alone!" My eyes shot open, but they were blury, the man was still latched onto my neck. He was ripped off of me and I fell to the floor. I looked up at the sky, I blinked hard a few times but I still couldn't seem to get my eyes to focus.
