Today was the company's annual barbecue, which they decided would be simple year, thus it is being held in zayn's backyard instead of renting some expensive venue like his father always did or always made him do.

Liam was getting the finishing touches ready as zayn instructed the caterer where he wanted everything set up, meanwhile, Luke was in the pool with the children splashing around in order to stay cool.

Normally Liam would be watching the trio however, he had more important things to do now like transferring his luggage to Zayn's house for their flight tomorrow.

Harry had left on Wednesday to continue his tour and they pretty much had to pry Halos hands from around his neck with a promise he would be back soon.

Zayn took out his phone to check his messages when a notification popped up on the screen, he glimpsed it and the familiar name made his heart do a backflip he clicked the notification and the YouTube app opens up.

"Hearts are broken all over America as it is confirmed that the Sign of The Times singer Harry Styles is cancelling the rest of his tour." Zayn cringes at the way the lady pronounced harry's first name. She said Hairy Styles instead of Harry Styles. Who's is Hairy Styles you might ask? Zayn has not a clue, but he listens intently anyway.

"Before his last song if the night last night Hairy-" Zayn cringes. "Managed to get the entire arena to quiet down so he could tell them the heart-wrenching news, he said and I quote, ' the past 2 months of this tour here has been tremendously amazing it is been with great on I getting to know you guys and going to perform for you it's been amazing seeing all the smiling faces in the audience even now and I love being here with you all but this is going to be the last show of the tour.' We know what you're thinking would

"Styles just cut his tour short and no it has nothing to do with sales let's keep in mind he has performed nothing but sold-out concerts throughout his entire tour, as a matter of fact, his entire career. So what may be problem? After announcing the sudden cancellation Styles went on to say, ' guys don't worry I'm perfectly fine and perfectly healthy there are just some things going on right now I think I need to give my full attention and focus everything got silly and her I'm sorry if I disappointed anyone but this is very crucial for me and I hope I will be forgiven for the decisions I've made.' Of coarse fans, we're supportive of Hairy, " Cringe. "However speculations started surfacing about a mystery woman in Styles' life, you know the one he has to focus solely on." Zayn scoffed at the speculations, yes cause harry was as straight as a pole note the sarcasm. "Soon speculations we're shot down when Hairy." Cringe. "Sat down Nick Grimshaw back in the UK for an interview this morning. When Grimshaw asked about the sudden cancellation this was how it went down." The reporter speaks and a clip from the interview started playing.

"So Harry why the sudden cancellation?" Nice questions.

Harry smiles his charming smiles before answering in his slow hypnotic voice. "Um, yeah its just as I said, there are some things in my personal life right now that needs my full attention." He answers simply.

"Yeah but I think your exact words were, "I think I need to give my full attention right now and focus solely on her.' might I ask who HER is because rumours are surfacing about various women you have interacted with."

" you know it's just the craziest thing I could just be standing next to someone and out-of-the-blue I'm dating them it's agh...." Harry trailed and you could see he was hesitant to speak. Was he really going to tell the world about Halo?

"You see, there are no women at all but there is this one little woman that holds my heart, over the break, I found out that I'm a father to the most wonderful precious little girl I could have ever had the pleasure of meeting, I got the chance to spend some time with her and when you're able to say you have made something so pure and wonderful it's like this space inside you is fulfilled and you start to see everything so differently." The interviewer along with the entire studio audience was frozen.

"Wait, let me get this straight you're a father?"

"Yea," Harry answers eyes crinkling at the side.

"So you are seeing someone?"

"No, I'm not." And right then and there zayn could feel the way Louis quaked when he heard that.

"So Harry why does being a father made you have to cancel your tour?"

" well I've just had three days with my baby girl and since then being back on the road I've just had this empty feeling in my stomach and I just need to be with her at least so I can be whole again."

Zayn watched the video clip with a swollen heart.

Yes, he would have to shield halo a lot better especially when she is with Harry.
At least he knows Harry truly cares.

The doorbell sounded thinking guests were arriving Zayn went to answer after drying his tears.

He made his way to the door which Martha was about to answer.

"No I got the guest," Zayn spoke to her before she could open the door.

He opens the door to see Harry and Louis standing there, his heart started thumping hard and erratically and he didn't care about Louis' presence, without thinking twice Zayn smashed his lips against Harry's, Harry stumbled back balance unexpected impact but maintained his balance.

Louis' jaw dropped and Harry held on to Zayns waist kissing back with love and passion he never knew he still had for the raven-haired man.

Louis gasped when he sees Harry not pushing Zayn away.

The two people were now looking into each other eyes.

Zayn was the first to look away scratching the back of his neck flustered from lack of oxygen and a little bit of embarrassment not knowing why he just did that.

Harry's lips we're just like he remembered them, soft, full and sweet.

Zayn looks up at a surprised harry only to quickly look back at his feet.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"I'm here for the barbecue."

That God damn smirk.
