chapter 2: The Watcher

???: 'You must wake, we don't have long.'

Opening my eyes I notice I'm not on the bunk that I fell asleep on but floating in space staring at a planet.

This planet is Pandora the planet you that currently reside on.

???: 'A beautiful sight is it not.'

A voice spoke bringing my eyes to the voice only for my body to tense at what I saw. It was some kind of creature at least two meters tall half of that height coming from it's legs there head jutting out from its body long arms covered with red spikes. Taking a step back I couldn't help but be frightened of this thing.

Raising it's hand it spoke.

???: 'Calm down child I'm only here to speak with you.'

Y/n: 'What should I say? I can't speak. Where's Tannis? What's happening?'

???:'Don't worry child all your questions will be answered in time but for now let me tell you a story of who you are.'

My eyes widen.

Y/n: 'How'd you hear me I didn't say anything?'

???: I can hear your thoughts, which is possible because you are dreaming child and I do not appreciate being called "it or you".

I quickly looked away in shame and then I looked back apologetically.

Y/n:'I'm sorry. What should I call you?'

The being looked away as if in thought and looked back

???: 'You may call me the Watcher'.

I raise my eyebrow In curiosity .

Y/n: 'what kind of name is "The watcher" not that I have any place to judge my name was Experiment Zero.'

Watcher: 'Yes......well shall we continue I still need to inform you of your purpose and give you the knowledge needed to move on from here and survive the hell that is Pandora.'

I nod my head and the scenery around us immediately changes to that of a palace with architecture much different from the buildings made by man. We were in a hall leading towards two large doors. The Watcher started walking towards those doors lookin back she motioned for me to follow. Once we reached the doors, I could make out some kind of language written on the door that I couldn't understand. The watcher noticed my confusion and spoke drawing my attention away from the door.

Watcher: 'You will learn how to read that language soon but you must wait.'

I nodded my head in understanding and turned back to the door. I started hearing faint noises coming from the other side and listening closely it almost sounded like explosions of some kind. The watcher opened the door and all I could see was war. Looking to the grey sky of this planet you could see ships descending to the ground some destroyed but most of them were whole. Looking towards the ground you could see two army's clashing and shouts and explosions going off on each side.

Watcher: 'welcome to Nekrotafeyo the eridian homeworld.'

Y/n's eyes were wide open not because of what he was seeing but because of what he heard. My eyes furrowed in confusion at that word.

Y/n: 'What's an eridian?'

Watcher: 'Child the Erdian were a race that populated this universe first . We were many and we had lived here far longer than any other human civilization and before they ever populated this system of planets here in this universe. But this war was the last battle and day anyone or anything would see one of Eridian kind ever again.
