"Shut up!" She said in disbelief adjusting her spectacles. "What did he want?, why was he in your room at that time?, does your parents know? ~*gasp* who am I kidding! Of course they don't!. So, update me girl!" She said nearly exploding with enthusiasm.

Why did I let her in on this info again?

"Well actually, he-" I began but was cut short because of the noise and screams happening outside the school.

"An akumatized villain!" We said in unison.

"I gotta go film this for my Ladyblog!" She said heading to the site of the chaos with much vigour"Don't think I'll let our discussion slip, Marinette"

I hurriedly searched for a safe place to transform

"Marinette, this will be a good time to transform" Tikki said

"Tikki! Spots on!!" I said as I transformed into the famous superhero

"Nice seeing you here M'lady, Blackout right here needs a little light in his life" Catnoir said with his usual pun intended remarks

"Will you quit it, this is serious, as it turns out I can't see this villain with the thick darkness he's cast, only you can" I said analyzing the tight spot i'm in

"You're Purfectly right, so I could be the window to your soul" he said, as I imagined him wriggling his eyebrows

"Really, right now?!" as I sweat dropped

Catnoir pushed me out of the way as I heard a car crash not too far from us.

"Thanks Kitty" I said grateful but worried, how am I supposed to defeat a villain I can't see, leaving Catnoir in a vulnerable position.

"You can run but you can't hide! Ladybug and Catnoir!!!, you can never escape the darkness!" Blackout yelled in the thick darkness gaining on our location.

"Catnoir could you distract him for me?" I asked already knowing the answer

"Is there anything I won't do for you Bugaboo?" He said as I could feel his breath in close proximity. No one needs to tell me twice before I know what he's trying to do.

"Back off Kitty, you ain't stealing a kiss from me" as I push him slightly, earning a slight chuckle from him as he is probably enjoying the state I'm in.

"Lucky charm!!" I called

As a bioluminescent ladybug patterned compass drops on my palm.

"What am I supposed to do with this?" I asked puzzled as I scan the surrounding area for any clues but the problem still remains, I STILL CAN'T SEE!, apart from the compass

"Bugaboo, it's probably pointing to the direction of your soulmate, me!" Catnoir replied which made me groan in frustration

"You're not help-" I was about to complain as an idea popped up "You're right Kitty about one thing, it's pointing at a direction and that I need to follow, please be safe before I get back" I said before running using the compass as a guide through the darkness as swinging is not a safe option for me at the moment.
