SANHA was Hana's first love, and Hana was Sanha's first love. The two broke up as both had lost romantic feelings for each other. The two remained good friends and don't regret dating each other, nor do they blame one another for the break-up. The duo continues to hang out, whenever both of them have time.
Hana and Sanha took things slow in their relationship, as it was the first for both sides and didn't want to rush anything and make the other uncomfortable. The couple liked to watch movies together, as well as play games, mostly board games, together. Let's just say they liked staying inside.
Fans do speculate Hana and Sanha know each other better than they pretend they do, but how could anyone hate on these two cuties?

DURING the holiday season of 2019 fans noticed Hana looked happier than usual in previous years during this time, which made them happy as well.
But fans also began to suspect it was someone making her happier. Especially after Hana mentioned that one of her Christmas gifts was for a "special someone". As well as the fact that Hana, and the other Red Velvet members, kept mentioning this "special someone".
In 2021, SM Entertainment confirmed that Hana was indeed dating someone and that they have been since mid-2019. The company of Hana's partner only stated 'We can't confirm anything about our artists' private lives. We ask for your understanding.'.
Luckily, the news was received positively and both artists are happy in love, showing each other off from time to time on their SNS. But of course, not without the occasional teasing from their group members, or interviewers/MCs of variety shows they go on.
