The next day, Jason's resolve was stronger than ever.

After he was done with his schoolwork, he walked up to Percy, who was cooking some homemade Mac'n'Cheese.

"Percy." His voice was firm. The shorter man turned to him questioningly. "You and I both know we could be happier as something closer than friends." He stated. Percy blinked, surprised, then thought a moment. Before he could get too deep in self-loathing, Jason grabbed both his his hands and held them.

"Percy, I don't care if you're worthless or not. I swear I will do everything for you if you need me to. Hell, you did my college homework after doing your own! Your cooking us even better than your mom's. We've both been beating around the bush about this." Jason looked into the Sea-Green depths of Percy's eyes.

The same eyes he'd been in love with for years. "You....you're sure there's no one else you want to date? At all?" Percy questioned cautiously. "No, you dork! Ive never dated anyone for a reason. I've been waiting for you for years. Either say yes or no." Jason rolled his eyes, exasperated, but smiling at Percy's carefulness.

"....Okay." Came the quiet reply. Jason beamed brighter than the fucking sun. He hugged Percy to him, burying his face in the crook of Percy's neck, breathing in the smell of him. It smelled like the sea breeze.

Percy didn't grin, but him hugging Jason back just as tightly told Jason all he needed to know. Percy was scared, but incredibly happy.

After dinner, they watched a movie in the living room. Percy, instead of sitting beside Jason, sat in his lap. They cuddled, Jason's face tucked into Percy's neck, placing slow, gentle kisses on the tan skin.

Percy peppered Jason's face with butterfly kisses that made the blond practically glow. The moment was soft, and sweet, and warm, and everything Jason needed. Percy's wouldn't admit it, but he needed it too.

"Oooh, so you're finally dating?" Luke wiggled his eyebrows at Percy across the library table. They were trying to find reference books for facts to put in a report. College sucked.

"Yes, we're dating. He finally snapped. But even when serious, he was still gentle to me." Percy blushed as he remembered Jason taking his hands and looking right into his eyes.....

"Earth to Percy! Don't get all sappy on me now, man." Luke laughed. "Oh, shut up! How about you? Found anyone to actually date instead of sleeping around?" Percy snapped at him. "Ouch. How could you do me like that man?" Luke put a hand on his chest, pretending to be hurt. "Luke, you're a man whore." Percy deadpanned.

"Which is why you owe me. So, get me reservations at Rosa's on Saturday and we'll be even." He added.

"Huh. Wow, you waited that long to call in a favor. Were you saving it just for Jason or.....?" Luke trailed off, seeing Percy's hand twitch around his pencil. He knew from experience that if he kept pushing Percy, he'd get stabbed with that pencil. He wisely shut up.

"Done. Have fun on your date." He said placatingly. Percy smiled. "Thanks bro."

Percy wished he'd said yes to Jason sooner. He was loving all of the physical attention. The hugs and cuddles. The little kisses. He could stay wrapped around Jason like a koala all day if he wanted to.

"Home!" Percy called as he walked in the door and toed off his shoes. Jason greeted him with strong arms wrapping around Percy as he delivered a gentle kiss to his lips. Percy smiled against his lips and hummed happily. He pulled Jason back down for another kiss. They stood there in the doorway, letting the kiss drag on slow and sweet. Neither of them ever wanted the kiss to end, but oxygen was a must-have, unfortunately.

"How was class?" Jason asked. "It was good. Luke is still a slut. Drew is still trying to get my number. Same old, same old." Percy reported. Jason frowned. "That's kinda rude." He said, referring to the comment about Luke.

"Nah, the whole school knows. It's kind of a running joke at this point. People like to airdrop Luke memes all the time from their iPhones." Percy waved it off. Jason raised an eyebrow. "That bad?" He winced. "Yup." Percy answered.

The two men walked into the living room. Jason had already finished his homework since there wasn't much today, so he watched TV while Percy sat in his lap doing homework. Jason's arms around Percy's waist felt so nice and safe, Percy rewarded him with a kiss to the top of his head.

"What was that for?" Jason wondered. "For being perfect." Percy answered, smiling softly. Even though the smaller man didn't look up from his laptop, Jason knew that smile was for him. That smile was only for him. No one else got to see that smile.

Jason planted kisses on Percy's jaw and chin, prompting a huff of laughter from the man above him. He moved down and Percy's neck and placed little kisses there too. A hum from Percy.

Suddenly, Jason attacked one particular spot on his neck, getting a yelp out of his boyfriend. Percy moaned and grabbed a handful of Jason's hair in surprise. Jason shuddered at the music coming from Percy's lips. He pulled away to look at the mark he'd left with a satisfied smirk.

Everything was amazing.
