IT IS NOW THURSDAY. me and Johnny have gotten even closer after that facetime call. i would call him my best friend, but i have two of those already. i can't really describe him, i just know he's special. but right now i'm trying to do my homework. emphasis on i trying. i was just done with math when my phone started buzzing like crazy. i already knew who it was.
johnnyboy🎙showed up in my phone and i immediately smiled. i picked up and put it on top of my desk so i could put my stuff away "Riles!! come here" Johnny groaned "oh my god i'm coming. i'm just packing my school stuff" "you're a nerd oh my god" "shut up Johnny" i said while laughing at him. after i was done putting my stuff away i picked up my phone and jumped in my bed "so, what's up?" i asked him while looking at his cute little face. "nothing much, just wanted to see you!" he said in the cutest tone, making me blush "well i'm here so..." "do you think we'll ever meet?" he randomly blurted out.
usually we didn't talk about the fact that we haven't met in person. actually we usually never talk about us and stuff like that. we always kept our subjects very simple and light i guess. well actually, i do. every time he tries to bring anything related to that on, i change the subject right away. "uh, i don't know" i said and i immediately saw disappointment on his face "but i hope so. and i hope it's soon" i completed. he looked up at me and smiled "me too!". i smiled back at him and we just stared at each other not saying anything.
it's impressive how someone you meet can change you're life for good. i never thought i'd meet someone by a text prank and end up liking them. WELL SHIT! shit! did i just say that. did i just admit to having feelings for FUCKING Johnny Orlando. what do i do now?
"Riles? you still there?" i heard him asking. "yeah, i'm here sorry" i said thinking about what i had just realized. i'm screwed. "i asked how was your day" he said "oh it was fine. it's school, so nothing too exciting" i said. not until you called me at least! wait what, stop it Riley! "uh, how was your day?" i asked him trying not to think about how confused i was.
"i was at the studio practically all day. it was fun and all, but i'm very tired right now". he was right. i could see the tiredness in his eyes. "so, take a nap" i said in an obvious tone "i can't take naps" "everyone can take naps Johnny" "well i can't" he said again. "okay, lay down, and close your eyes" "what, why? what are you going to do?" he asked in a very confused tone. "just do it Johnny" i heard rumbling on the other side of the line so i knew he was doing what i told him too. "okay, what now?" "when i was a kid and i couldn't sleep my mom would always sing to me, and it always worked so..." his eyes bulged and he sat up "you're finally singing for me?" "if you lay down, then yes" i answered.
ever since he found out i sang he kept bugging me to sing to him. i always avoided that. but i could see how much he needed to sleep and maybe this could work. "close your eyes" i said quietly and he did. so i sang for him. the whole time he had a little smile on his face and i could tell he wanted to make so many comments but he couldn't. the only thing he said to me was "you have a beautiful voice" and right after that he feel asleep, just like i told him he would.
when he did i didn't hang up. i just did my things while i left the left the facetime call there. i really really like him. oh god!
