"Why can't I stop thinking for a second? Why do I think?" he wondered. The boy turned over to the side and read the clock: 11:47pm. He couldn't stop thinking about school and making friends. "Hoseokie, stop thinking, I'm tired," he said to himself.

He stared at the ceiling for a few minutes until he heard the door open slowly. The light from the hall blended into the darkness slowly as it opened. "Who are you talking to?" his mother asked. "Myself," Hoseok answered. His mother asked if anything was wrong, to which Hoseok declined. "Okay, I'll text you in the morning for breakfast," she reminded him. Hoseok replied with a nod and his mother left.

That was it. "Why don't I text Namjoonie??" he thought. Tomorrow was Saturday, after all. Hoseok wanted to do something with his new friend, Kim Namjoon. He picked up his phone and began typing.

Satisfied with his answer, Hoseok thought he could then fall asleep. He closed his eyes for what felt like about 1 minute and passed out. Goodnight, Jung Hoseok.

10:29am.
Hoseok woke up to knocking at the front door. He got up and changed out of his pajamas. The knocking continued, mom and dad must've been at work. They would've never kept someone waiting for longer than about 3 seconds, that's just rude to them. Hoseok ran to the door, who could it be?

He opened the door to see a tall friend standing in front of him, large brown paper bag held in both of the friend's hands. Birkenstocks, jeans, white shirt, jacket, beanie, soft-looking brown hair. It was Namjoon. He moved the bag down slightly to reveal his nice smile. "What is this?" Hoseok asked the friend in front of him.

"Fruits and vegetables from my garden. It would be rude of me not to bring anything." Hoseok took the bag from Namjoon and motioned for him to come inside. "My parents aren't home so I just thought we could hang out a little," Hoseok informed the other, as he put the food down on the kitchen counter. "I actually wanted to go somewhere."

"Really?" Hoseok asked as he turned around. "Like where?" He sat down, smiling his best smile for his new friend. "I thought we could go to the mall with the others." Namjoon smiled back at his hyung. "Who are the others?" "Seokjin, Jungkook, Jimin, and Yoongi." Hoseok smiled bigger and nodded without hesitation. They drove to the mall and walked into the first restaurant, which was a diner-like place.

"This is where we're meeting up. We'll get into pairs and just shop I guess, just telling you so you have time to think about who you wanna partner up with." Namjoon explained, followed with a shrug. They were seated and they ordered their drinks. "Thank you, Namjoon. You're very kind" Hoseok smiled. Namjoon replied with a nod.

10-20 minutes later everyone arrived and they placed their order for drinks and food almost immediately. Namjoon and Hoseok both took turns explaining to everyone what they were gonna do. Everyone got time to think about their partners while they are. Seokjin and Namjoon would be together, and Jimin and Jungkook. That only left Yoongi and Hoseok. After eating and paying for their food, Jimin and Jungkook sped off to go shop.

"I'm with Namjoon so I'm guessing you two will be together. Don't get lost, you hear me? Here's my business card just in case." Seokjin reached in his back pocket and pulled out a folded up piece of paper. Unfolding it would reveal "Seokjin" and what Hoseok was only assuming was Seokjin's phone number written very sloppily. "Umm.. thanks?" Hoseok forced a smile. It was a more of a weird-scared look that really showed. Namjoon and Seokjin left, to the expensive clothing stores they went.

Yoongi looked up at Hoseok and gave him a shy wave. Hoseok knew he would like having Yoongi as a partner, he looked interesting to him. "Where first? What do you like?" Hoseok thought he would be kind and ask. He gave Yoongi a minute to think. "I think I want coffee," Yoongi replied, and they agreed. There was a Starbucks nearby so they walked over there. While they waited for their drinks, they sat down.

Finally, they got called up. Just Yoongi went up because he insisted on getting Hoseok's drink as well. Hoseok smiled as he watched Yoongi go get their drinks. "Any girl would be so lucky to have a kind, handsome, amazing boyfriend like Yoongi," Hoseok thought to himself.
