Chapter 2
So, what do you do when you start panicking from contacting a random person? Contact another random person of course! Izuku was shaking in his bed, gripping his phone as he typed in a number he thought up. He sent a message and hoped for the best while trying to calm himself. This should distract him from the fact that his chance of making a friend was ruined by being outed as quirkless. He just needed to leave the topic alone!
Izuku: Hello random number! I'm on a quest for friends who don't let quirks take over their conversations! Preferably just don't talk about quirks, like at all.
(PoV Change Kinda)
Shinso Hitoshi raised an eyebrow when he heard the telltale sign of an actual text message. He was kinda used to other notifications, but texts? No way. He picked up the device and saw a random number. Confused, he tapped on the bubble. Hitoshi read over the new conversation.
The purpleish-haired boy's eyes widened. This other person didn't want to brag or something? That's kinda cool.
Maybe they're like me, Hitoshi thought to himself as he typed up a response.
Hitoshi: Heya. You seem to have gotten the right number, I really would like to befriend someone who won't judge me for my quirk.
Unknown: YES IT WORKED HAHA! SECOND TIME'S THE CHARM! Anyways, you can call me Ku! I go by he/him and I like to analyze stuff around me.
Hitoshi: Nice to meet cha, I'll go by Hito I guess. I like to...train? I want to be a hero but I'm not really "fitted" to be one
Ku: I seem to have found the first friend who may actually understand me. TAKE THAT HAHA IM NOT TOTALLY USELESS!
Hitoshi was taken aback. That was quite random but honestly hilarious as he let out an ugly snort of laughter. Seems Ku is quite the comedian.
Hito: bro what the fuck lol
Ku: I'm currently talking to you in a panic induced high. I feel like I'm doing well.
Hitoshi was glad he messaged back as he laughed and continued talking with his new-found friend.
