Does he love me or does he not?

Chapter ten

The weekend past and all I thought about all week was about Aizen and what I told him.  I can't believe I told him about Tyler.  Does he think I'm weird?  Does he think differently of me?  I'm not sure.  Maybe I should ask him or is that a bad idea?  Why must like be so difficult?

Seeing posters of the formal all over the school made me think.  Should I tell him that I like him?  I think it's time he knew.  I made my resolve.  I'll tell him I like him.  Then I can live the rest of the year peacefully.  

The bell rang.  It's time for lunch.  I'd ask Aizen to the formal and we'd go together and have a great time.  To ask him to the formal, I'd have to find him first.  I was on a mission, on a mission to find Aizen.  And in no time, I found him.

"Hey Aizen!" I called out to him.  I had to do this.  Have confidence was all I kept telling myself, it'll be alright.

"Hey Crystal, how was your weekend?  Feeling better?" He asked me with that dreamy smile of his.  

"Oh.. um yeah... thanks for listening!  Can I....um.....talk to you privately?" I asked him, stuttering.  Their goes my confidence.

"Yea sure, let's go talk somewhere privately because I probably can't hear you with all this noise." He told me.  

I'm so nervous.  Butterflies are forming in the pit of my stomach.  I've gotta do this.

"So...um... I have to tell you something.  We've been good friends and we listen to each other....and I want to let you know that I um.. I like---"

"Jesus Christ is this going where I think it is." He interrupted me. 

What is going on.  My heads spinning.

"Are you trying to say you like me?" He asked with a look of disgust.

"Well, this is my confession.  I was going to ask if you wanted to go to the formal with me.  I don't want this to be awkward so just forget I said anything." I told him.  

Fighting back tears, I left him there without looking back.  This did not go as planned.  Well, this turned out to be lovely.  Fuck this and fuck everything.  Love fucking sucks.
