Chapter 13: Beach Invitation

Juvia's POV

Juvia doesn't know why but she kinda feels comfortable around Gray-sama now, unlike before. I guess, I judged him too much. Well, it's all cleared up now.

Gray Fullbuster...

Juvia gulped when she felt her heart beating so she clutched unto her chest and started thinking about it. T-This is a familiar feeling...

Is Juvia falling for Gray-sama?

No, this can't be. Juvia shouldn't fall for her best friend's ex. And besides, we have a fake relationship going on right now so Juvia shouldn't feel anything real towards him.

"Juvia!"

Juvia quickly looked up, only to see a guy running towards her. He looked so dreamy while running and it felt like the world's in a slow motion. She observed how he runs fast, his hair getting messy a little from running and his adam's apple moving up and down from running and talking.

She blushed and gulped.

No, Juvia! Stop day dreaming! And stop beautifying him!

She slaps her self twice to bring her back into reality. She should really stop having day dreams whenever she has a guy she likes-

No, Juvia doesn't like Gray-sama!

Juvia sighed and drinks her soda, which she bought earlier.

He panted when he was in front of me and runs his hand through his hair to fix it. "Hey, I have something to tell you."

"W-W-What i-is it?" Juvia asked as she puts her soda down on the table.

His face suddenly turned blank. "What's with the stuttering? You're quite weird today, you know."

"I-It's nothing, jeez! Why did you come here??" Juvia asked to change the topic. She doesn't want to say anything irrelevant to Gray-sama after all.

"Wait a moment," He said as he looks at the soda on my table. He points at it and asks, "Can I drink that?"

"W-What-?! But Juvia-"

"Thank you very much!" He said and takes it by force without letting Juvia finish what she was about to say. She blushed when Gray-sama started drinking the soda.

Juvia already drank from that...

She touched her cheeks and it felt hot. I-Isn't this what they call, an indirect kiss? And he drinks from it without any hesitations at all and he seems fine with it.

He finishes it up and brings the empty soda down on the table. He wipes his mouth using his hand before saying, "Right, I really have something to tell you."

"Juvia's asking what it is!"

"Ah, Erza told me to bring you back to the classroom because she has something to tell us." He bluntly said. "I think it's connected to the fact that we have a one-week vacation next week."

"Oh... L-Let's go then." Juvia said and stands up. She also grabs the empty can for some reason.

"What are you doing? Just leave it there." He said after looking at the can.

Juvia turns to him and stucks her tongue at him. "Gray-sama, you're such a bad person, bleh."

And she starts to walk with him behind her. She felt herself smiling while staring at the empty can. She can use this as a display later at home.

Haha, as if.

"Beach?" We all asked.

"Yes! Recently, my mom got ahold of 8 tickets so I'm inviting you all to go with me there for a week- Hmm, maybe just 6 days and 5 nights." Erza said as she showed us the tickets.

The beach is called Akane Beach with a resort called Akane Resort and it is one of the famous places for tourists. Juvia heard that it's hard to get a reservation there. Erza's mom is quite amazing.

Lucy clapped her hands twice before saying, "Let's go, definitely! We should enjoy our vacation there!"

"Lu-chan, Juvia, Erza! We should go to the swimsuit store later to pick up some swimsuits!" Levy mentioned, making the three of us smile at her.

"Let's go!"

"I'm free, so it's okay."

"J-Juvia's embarrassed..."

"Ah," Gray-sama said and Juvia almost jumped out of her seat when he suddenly wraps his arm around her- And, he's too close!

"But I have a date with my Juvia later." He says and pinches me lightly, unlike earlier, on my cheeks.

Juvia thinks that this is one of his plans again to make Lucy feel jealous.

Juvia smiled bitterly at the thought of that and lowers down her head. She doesn't know why but she suddenly felt sad about that fact.

Natsu smirked and said, "Ew, Gray's too breezy around Juvia."

"You only say that because you don't have a girlfriend, flame brain!"

"What did you say?!"

Ah, and they started fighting and bickering with each other. They're always like this and they never change.

"That's enough, you two!" Erza said and punches them both in their cheeks to make them stop.

"You two better listen to Erza, you know." Jellal said before looking at her and winks. She blushes at him before looking away. Aw, they're too cute.

"Gi-hee, a pair of idiots." Gajeel said with his usual smirk.

"Juvia, you should cancel your date with Gray later, okay? And go with us!" Lucy said and laughs afterwards. Levy and Erza agreed with her.

"W-Well..." Juvia said before looking at Gray-sama.

His face was blank again. Oh my, why does he have to be a poker-face type of person?

He sighs and nods afterwards. Juvia felt happy when she got her approval. "Okay, it's all settled then. Juvia will go with you."

"Yes!" The three of them said.

Juvia laughed before looking at Gray-sama again. He was smiling at her and even gave her a thumbs-up. She felt her heart beating again so she looked away and pretended that it didn't happen.

Juvia should really avoid to fall for him before she gets hurt by it...
